Lovely hotel and staff, breakfast was great and you can make two double beds into one mega bed, IT'S GREAT. Walking distance from most tourist places. We looked forward most to buffet breakfast each day, would only come back to Adelaide for the breakfast.
I had an excellent recent stay at the Crowne Plaza. All staff were friendly and professional, the room was very comfortable, the buffet breakfast was excellent, and great value if you book the night before. There were a couple of issues I encountered which were not the fault of the hotel or its staff and they took action immediately to assist me. I would stay there again with no qualms.
Central hotel close to everything in the city. Modern, clean hotel rooms also great friendly service. Really good meals served to your hotel room, or you can head to the down stairs restaurant which also does a buffet breakfast in the mornings.
This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to public transport, bars and restaurants. You can take the airport bus and stop out the front. For me the bed was very comfortable for my wife it was a little bit hard.
I stayed here recently with my mother and it was perfect. In the past we have stayed at the Majestic Rooftop which is also good, but on this occasion, the appeal of two queen beds in the room was good for us. The beds were really comfortable, the room was clean and spacious and the position was good. What I thought was particularly nice about this hotel was the service and the staff. They were all fantastic and helpful. Fellows on the valet parking were excellent, car was always there when requested. Pouring rain one day and the young man came out with an umbrella to help mum inside. Sometimes it is just the little things that make the difference. Will stay again.
From the minute I walked in I was warmly welcomed by everyone, Louise made check in very quick and smooth and explain everything that I needed to know. My room was great I was on the 8th as I had requested a quiet room which was very quiet. My room overlooked hindermash sqaure, I had a balcony which was a bonus. The bed and pillows were super comfy I loved the small touch of the lavender room spray. The bath was huge but a little on the high side when trying to get in and out especially when you're a short person lol I ate down at the restaurant on the 1st night which I couldn't fault a big thank you to Georgia who was fabulous constantly checking if everything was ok. I went down to the bar for happy hour and again the staff were fabulous and straight away spotted Georgia who knew straight away what I was drinking without me saying anything! Housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and polite and loved the note left by Jenny! Overall this hotel is great, I didn't use the spa or gym facilities but was told at check that they were under maintenance which didn't bother me. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you to all the Crowne staff for making my stay a memorable one especially Georgia your an asset to the company!
A recent stay at this hotel was pleasant .Check in quick .Room a good size for a standard room ..Red Salt restaurant very nice and would recommend it .Only thing to complain about ..Is deposit for Any extra charges.....Mini bar not used .Takes far too long .One week later still not returned .Other hotels I've stayed in usually 4 days ..But it's a nice hotel ..
Very nice hotel in a great location. The room was modern & clean & contained everything we needed plus more. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Australia, but our ordered coffees never arrived. Layout of dining room was a bit squishy & made it hard to get to buffet. Concierge took over 45 minutes to get our car & when we eventually got tired of waiting we went outside & the car was there & we hadn't been told... even though we were waiting right by concierge desk. All in all we enjoyed our stay though.
Staying here a few times with national teams and on my own I can tell you: 1-it's central-walking distance to most things or trans and Adelaide oval 2-breakfast is very simple, but comprehensive. And delicious. 3-pool and spa-very relaxing. Pool is big enough for laps. Overall great value for adelaide.
Attended my second conference in the ballroom on the 15th floor and again found it to be a great venue. The rooms are adaptable for size, have adequate screens and IT facilities and really well made and presented food. The balcony provides great views and a slightly intimate space for networking and lunch etc.
