Our second visit to the hotel since Feb 2020. Happy to report the hotel has not declined in service, food offering or drinks over the last 4 years. We opted for the all inclusive package which was well worth it. This is NOT the hotel for you if you are looking for quiet stay, there is a DJ at the pool daily and bars across the street from the hotel which play loud music. We knew this going into our trip so we were not bothered by it. In fact one night we noticed from our balcony that there was a drag show at a bar across the street and went down to the bar and see the show! Access to the sister hotels are no longer included and pay extra however worth it. We went to the reef coco beach two days to enjoy the beach and swim in the ocean. Drinks and snack bar at that hotel were good. Overall, would return again!

Room was across the street from bar which had very loud music and DJ’ing until the early morning hours. No blackout curtains. One elevator not able to go ‘UP’ and remained broken throughout our stay. Good water pressure and hot water was quick. Toilet was leaky. Good variety of food at breakfast buffet. A/C was efficient and quiet.

Everytime I go to Playa De Carmen I stay at Reef 28. Fun atmosphere and the service is excellente!! It is a short 2 min walk into town and the beach which makes it convenient. I highly recommend staying at this Hotel.
