I purchased a trip for my parents as a Christmas/Anniversary trip. They LOVED this hotel, could not have spoken more highly of the staff, food, amenities, their overall experience was excellent! I’m very happy with how everything turned out, as this was the first time my parents travelled by themselves in many many years.

Watch out for the fancy resort pictures; this place is terrible despite looking nice. The room smells bad, the furniture is falling apart, and the mirrors are rusty. The staff are rude, the registration process is old-fashioned, and they didn’t give us the room they promised. Even though they say it’s just for adults, the amenities are disappointing, with the pool and bars closing early. Our phone didn’t work, and the extra things we paid for, like the tub and hair dryers, were also disappointing. The food wasn’t good either, and the service was bad, especially when we spoke Spanish. Only a few staff members were nice, but it felt like they were just trying to sell us something. Save your money and go somewhere else. They also charge extra for things they say are included.

The staff is the absolute worst! They placed unauthorized charges on my account and we could not leave until we signed for those charges! You get leave the resort without a check out ticket. They told us we had to pay through orbitz with our problem!! On top of that the room was filthy! They sweep all the dirt in the room under the sink in the bathroom and in the covers of the room. When they changed our bed we discover a wide array of hairs on the sheets and pillow! Long hair, curly hair, blonde hair, black hair, and pubic hair!! We waited hours from them to service the room. When they finally arrived they gave us sheets that didn’t fit the bed. The staff person said that it wasn’t his job and that’s all he could do. The food was 4/10. We are frequent international travelers. This is hands down the worst experience in both of our lives!

The restaurants at this resort were excellent. The food was great. The food options during the day at the poolside were excellent.The pool activities were fun and the night time shows at the theater and on the plaza were creative.
