Amazing stay as always! We have been staying at El Cid La Ceiba for about 7 years. The people are what makes it stand out from others! While some have retired and some have had to leave, they are the reason we always return there. Treat your people well, they deserve it! We also highly recommend Dive House for your reef dives, Rentadora Isis for your car rentals, Coconuts for pico and guacamole and fajitas, Ernesto’s for breakfast and Cocina de Italiana for a really great intimate dining experience. After 11 years these are some of the “gems”.

First time at this all inclusive but many trips to Cozumel. The resort is a wonderful mid range cost option. Staff including front desk are better than most. Will definitely return in the future.

Enjoyed our 5 day stay. Clean property with easy access to get around to shopping and diving. Only one restaurant was open while we were there but they food options were great. We did the elite option as it had the all inclusive food/drink option. Plenty of food & drink choices that came with it. Smaller place with most options available of a larger place. Only downfall is that the cruise ships sit to the left side of the property every day except Sunday. There we're a few cruisers that paid for the day pass but it didn't make it overcrowded.

If you like looking at multiple cruise ships daily then this place is for you. The facility caters to the people on the cruise ships. A majority of the stores and restaurants around the resort are only open when cruise ships are there but a soon as the cruise ships leave then they close. Employees were friendly. Disappointed that there is only one restaurant in the resort. The food was just okay however, a majority of the items from the buffet were not very hot. It would have been nice to receive a handout when arriving that explains pool area, picking up swimming towels and reserving lounges, when they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, if they have special activities within the resort, information about the resort (gym, WiFi, computer access, etc).
