This is our 2nd trip to atelier but terrible checkin experience. Food was okay but spa & other concierge service is not acceptable. Booked ocean view suite but not available when checked in. BAD,BAD and BAD attitude staff behavior. We are not going back to atelier again and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful property. Great food and amazing drinks. Tons of walking since resort is so big. Biggest complaint is the towel game guests play at the pool. Barely could get seats each day. Good to note that this resort does have a convention center and hosts huge companies which took over sections of the resort at times limiting access to certain bars like El Cielo.

First stay at Atelier Play Mujeres
From the moment you walk in the lobby you are greeted by smiling faces. They were through on telling us where everything is and how to go about our stay and assuring us even though there was a lot of information about the resort to take in that we could ask for assistance at any time. Our room was well kept and the turn down service was a welcomed addition when returning to your room after dinner. The bartenders felt like your friends by the end of your pool visits and made sure you were taken care of. The rooms and facility were clean and we would definitely return again. This resort is massive and feels like you find something new every day.

Loved the property! It was clean and the service was impeccable! Couple of things that would have been at check-in I wish we had gotten more information at check-in. Our person wasn't very informative. We had to navigate a lot of things by ourselves. We had asked the people sitting at the excursion desk where one of the restaurants were and they were not that nice. There is quite a bit of mosquitos which put a damper on our trip. I brought bug spray but it was annoying having to spray it for dinner and smelling it repellent.Food was excellent everywhere we went. We missed the silent disco and the la calle because it had ended after dinner. It would be great have menus at the bars especially for those that don't know what to get for a drink. Overall it was a 5 star experience.
