This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort. My family and I are big fans of cruising, and we wanted to try something new. I chose this resort because of the amenities for kids. However, I was disappointed to find out that the rock climbing wall and zip line are only open for an hour and a half per day, from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. All three pools were a little rundown, but very clean. There are four restaurants besides the buffet that require reservations each morning. We tried all of them except the French restaurant. Men need to wear pants to dine there, which unfortunately I did not pack. The buffet food was average - if you’ve been on a cruise, it’s basically the same. There is also a poolside buffet that serves hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, etc. Additionally, there is a little restaurant which serves sushi and Chinese food daily. Our room was cleaned every day, but I had to call housekeeping several times because they did not replace our towels, leaving us with none. Our overall experience at this resort was good, and I would stay there again.

AVOID! The route to the "second tower" is tedious: dragging luggage through the pool area or navigating stairs/ramps is a hassle. Lobby vendors are persistent. Only 2 out of 3 elevators worked. Hallways and rooms are DIRTY and smell of mildew; it's a health hazard. Bathroom products are bad, WiFi is unusable, room service phone line is slow, food quality is hospital-grade. The pool area is chaotic and noisy. Safety is a concern because I was followed by someone when he asked if I smoked and I said no. I left 3 nights early. When I left, I was told by the same front desk supervisor 2 different times, on 2 different days (I made sure to ask multiple times to make sure we both understood) that I would be refunded for the 3 unused nights, but I have yet to get that refund despite my attempts. I tried getting a refund via Orbitz but the resort refused them, which goes against what I was told by the front desk. Calling only ends up with you bounced from person to person, and that's IF you finally reach a human. The only time I managed to speak with someone, she told me she had to speak to a financial institution to issue a refund. She took my info and said she would call back, but she didn’t. I did not complain to the front desk because there was no point. This entire resort is beyond recourse, and no amount of moving to a different room or having my room cleaned would remedy the situation. Overall horrible. Pathetic. Do NOT stay here; I moved to Hyatt Zilara and it was wonderful.

The food where they served breakfast - dinner was the worst I’ve had. In general I think this is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms were nice and clean. The private restaurants were good, but not the main restaurant. At every other hotel I’ve stayed at as soon as they seat you they bring you water and coffee. Not the case here, had to chase down the waiters. Overall hotels grounds not remarkable. Nothing like the pictures.

The resort have 5 restaurant but I tried every day to do a reservación by the webpage (sares.mx) and always was busy. I spoke with the staff and no one help me to do any reservation. I did not know any restaurant on site. I’m really up set. No towels at pool. 😩
