Had a wonderful time vacationing with several family members. The hotel was busy over Easter week but the staff was very accommodating to all our needs. Changed rooms a couple of times as We wanted a better view and staff was wonderful. Breakfast selections were outstanding and service fantastic.

This is a fantastic facility! If you're considering the Gran Melia, go ahead and spurge a bit and go for the Red Level. It is worth the extra. We were treated like very special guests, and it appeared all of our fellow Red Level guests had similar experiences. This was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at any resort. Now, a few little things to note. If you have read many reviews, you've probably seen the wet bathroom floors mentioned. It really is a bit of a problem. The design of the shower allows a significant amount of water to run out onto the floor of the main part of the bathroom. Its a shame because the design and look of the shower is great! This problem would be very easy to correct by raising the shower door a centimeter or so and adding a threshold. Perhaps this is something that can be done at some point in the future. If you are at risk of slipping and falling, I suggest you do not use the shower, as there will almost certainly be water on the floor. There is a separate tub that can be used instead. Also, note that this is not a non-smoking campus. We were often greeted by the disgusting stench of cigarette smoke when we tried to enjoy our balcony. Most people will find the restaurant prices to be quite expensive. We had full board and used that circumstance to choose the very best items on the menus. In general, the food was quite good. But honestly, the very impressive buffet was a delight and really all we needed. Really great resort!!

This hotel was absolutely perfect. I went for my honeymoon and could not be happier with the trip. Staff was accommodating, friendly and professional. The hotel was so clean which is really difficult for a hotel this size (that allows children). The only thing I might say is chech at the front desk for options on meals and drinks... It may not be worth it for you unless you drink 6-7 drinks per day.

I am really surprised at all the glowing reviews. This was a very average hotel. For the price we paid, this hotel was not worth it. I felt this property is overhyped. Rooms are small, lobby is very small. And this property gives preference to those that book direct on their website discriminating against those that use travel websites. They upgraded my friend who booked direct but did not upgrade us.

Beautiful hotel, very well located and with a very good restaurant

Great pools and spas. The food was not great. Including the breakfast buffet and restaurant near the pools. The food at the small restaurant closest to the ocean was horrendous, specifically the hamburger. Very dry and like paper. Service was subpar. We did like the kids club but wish they had longer hours. (Only had 1.5 hour increments). There was a medical emergency while I was there. A guest went into cardiac arrest and staff seemed very Ill prepared to do CPR/get AED and they depended on the guests with medical background to assist. The rooms were nice. Although sometimes didn’t get hot water from shower

My boyfriend & I had a fantastic stay at Palacio Villapanés. A hotel employee called me the morning of our check-in to ask when we would be arriving so they could ensure our room was ready, which was a sign of great customer service. Once we arrived, we were stunned by the beautiful design of the hotel including the lobby, bar, and courtyard. The service continued to be excellent; the staff provided us with maps of the city and detailed recommendations. We especially appreciated Alejandro, who suggested a restaurant to us that would become our favorite of a 4-day trip. The hotel facilities were immaculately clean and well-maintained, as was our room, which was also very spacious. Lastly, the rooftop provided gorgeous views of the sunset over Sevilla. We would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We were really surprised with how delightful this hotel is. The staff is over-the-top accommodating and pleasant. The building is really cool, how it integrates the ancient garden walls into the modern vibe of the atrium and common areas is very creative. Finally, the location cannot be better when it comes to fanning out in all directions to see Barcelona
