We loved this Inn. Check in was a breeze. We greatly appreciated being to grab anything we needed from the lobby. The views from our patio were amazing. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

I'm so glad I chose to stay here. The owners went out of their way to accommodate me as I had been on the road many days so I was plenty tuckered out. In a great location if you like being just off the high traffic town area. Was impressed with how clean my room was, and by the care that was taken to build and decorate. Should I travel that way again, I will definitely make a point of staying here again.

A great quiet retreat at the end of a day in Winthrop. Spacious well appointed rooms, with covered balconies on the second level a nice bonus to the stay. The location is on pretty backyard path away from the highway, within easy walking distance from both Winthrop Rink and the bustling Winthrop downtown. Daily sightings of deer on and near the property -- and some beautiful surroundings. Owners and staff are very welcoming and responsive to specific asks or changes in plans. Recommended!

Loved this inn. So welcoming with personal touches. Room was incredibly clean; bed was comfy and even the carpet was noteworthily clean and comfy under foot. Loved the landscaping around the inn, too. You can tell the owners really take pride in their business. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. Very easy and smooth check-in, too.

We had a wonderful stay. The room is spotlessly clean. Nice furnishings and linens. Bed very comfy. The lobby has all the extras you will need for picnics, an ice machine and small appliances to borrow. A good selection of DVD’s as well. This is very close to downtown Winthrop for food and shopping. We sincerely enjoyed our stay and will come back again when passing through Winthrop.

Attractive room with handcarved pine furniture. ceramic mugs and glass wine goblets rather than paper or plastic. Superb coffee. A doe and her two fawns right outside our window! Would love to return!

Lovely room (Quail) in a nice setting, able to walk into Winthrop easily for food and drinks in the evening. Room nice and quiet with a private patio area although we didn’t use it as out all day. Didn’t really have any interaction with staff on site but all email communications were clear regarding check in/out so our time here went smoothly. Would definitely return if in the area again

Great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay - we wished we could have stayed another night! The bed was comfortable, the patio was a wonderful surprise, the surroundings were peaceful and lovely. We had a most pleasant evening/night at Mt. Gardner Inn, and if we ever get the opportunity - we'll be back, and spread the word amongst our friends!

We loved everything about Mt Gardner Inn from the deer chasing each other across the lawn to the friendly and helpful innkeepers. Communication with the innkeepers was excellent. Our room had a nice little balcony with quality chairs and cushions. Perfect for morning coffee. The inn had the retro feel of an old style motel but with a clean and modern touch. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Mt Gardner Inn was a lovely place to stay. Big, comfortable room, a lobby with a few things that could be taken to the room (electric tea kettle, yea!). Would have been nice if the outdoor chairs had comfortable cushions, but that is nitpicking on my end.

This property exceeded all my expectations. We were surprised to have been upgraded to a one bedroom unit with full kitchen, dining and living room! It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The linens were a nice crisp cotton. They even provide bags of ice in the lobby. How nice is that? It was close to town and the river and about 30 minutes from the National Park. We got to watch a family of deer come to the yard every morning and evening so that was a bonus! I highly recommend Mt Gardner Inn. 5 stars
