Disappointed that there was no breakfast. Also there was only one tea mug for two of us. Only two teabags which meant we could only have one drink. Would be nice to be able to have one on arrival, one before bed and one on the morning. Not enough milk. If we'd have known we would have brought some extras with us from home. Quite a lot of road noise until late and from early in the morning.

Very clean, spacious & good parking. Recommended.

We recently stayed in cottage 12 , Oct 25, just for 1 night. The first impressions were very good with the accommodation being spacious and extremely clean. The bedding was crispy white and smelled wonderful, which is just what guests want. The towels were good quality, very fluffy and extremely cleanh. There were plenty of coffee and tea making supplies, which was welcome. Thank you. Please be aware that the toilet, shower and 2nd bedroom are up a quite tight, steep winding staircase, which maybe difficult for those with mobility issues. See photos. Also, the accommodation is near a main road, which can be heard, but quietened down between midnight and 05:30. You can also hear the aircraft arriving at Manchester airport close by. Parking was plentiful, appeared secure and safe. All in all, we would recommend Rylands Farmhouse for the occasional overnight stay.

Arrived but door code didn't work. However phone answered quickly,staff friendly and helpful, problem solved straight away. Good place for an overnight stay, supermarket outlets at petrol stations nearby. Good night's sleep.

Perfect for a large family.

We stayed as a family of 5 for a couple of nights and it was really lovely. Great location for the airport or day trips like quarry bank. There are many pubs / restaurants near by too. The place is spacious and peaceful. Nice and clean with everything you need including a decent TV. You are left to your own devices but someone is on hand if you need anything.

Very disappointing stay. The room access code sent was incorrect so I had to call a number and wait 20-30 minutes for a call back to get in from the rain. I then had to call again as I couldn’t find the heating. Once the heating was on it never really got warm despite being set to a whopping 27C. It took another 20 minutes to get the tv/sky box working so by that time it was too late to watch a film. On going to bed I found the carpet in front of the door was saturated for about a square meter due to rain driving in. No longer the boutique hotel despite the boutique price (and no breakfast). I in have tried messaging the hotel directly twice but no response

A disappointment.

Room pristine as usual. Got message the day before arriving that the breakfast was no longer complementary (sic) but a query about that was not answered. On arrival it was apparent that, while the room was prepared, the area for breakfast had been stripped out. The carpet in reception was rolled up. Only one other room appeared to be occupied. I can only assume that the place is shutting down!

Lovely place to stay wonderful staff member helped up with our accommodation, coffee pods in room was a wonderful and welcome surprise beds super comfortable it was difficult to get up in the morning to attend the conference we had the following day, would highly recommended, please note you need a passcode for door so ensure you get the email beforehand.

We booked this hotel enroute to a wedding. What a gem, excellent accommodation, big room & bathroom. Loved all the extras Nespesso machine, bathrobes, full sky package TV. The bed & bedding were great quality and very comfortable. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious, full english cooked to order - what's not to like and all at a great price! We would have to hesitation in staying here again or in recommending it 👍👍💖
