Stains were in the carpet and paint was peeling in the shower. The entire hotel smelled like Glade disinfectant as if someone was trying to cover up a different smell. Service was great the front desk personnel or wonderful however I strongly recommend investment in improving the facilities.

The breakfast was bad. Not a lot to offer, cold, gross. Bathroom tub was moldy and looks as if it had been painted snd the paint was peeling off The elevators were crazy! The doors opened and you either had to step up to get in or down. The car didnt match up with floor. Also, if you push a floor button, you never knew what floor you might get! Trying to get to floor 1, i was sent to 5, then 2, then 1. Often pushing floor 2 i got a different floor. We took stairs. Comfy, clean sleeping area. Right beside train track so heads up. Its ok for a quick stay and plenty of closeby food options.

The room, hallways, lobby, and breakfast area were very clean. The breakfast offerings were minimal - only 2 cereal choices, only apples every day, scrambled eggs and sausage every day, waffle maker. Ok - but other chain hotels do it better. Our room was spacious but very dark. They need to add some more lighting by the desk area. That end of the room has no lights at all so it made reading, etc. difficult. Also, one of the lightbulbs in a bedside table light was burned out making the room even more dim. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. All in all a good stay and we would stay again.
