Wonderful home and location

We had a great stay at the Layfette house for our girls weekend! The home is perfectly located, gorgeous, comfortable and clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you for having us!

Amazing Girls Weekend Location

The house was beautiful and just perfect for my college roomies to get together to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The beds were so comfy, the layout was perfect for a lovely dinner, game night or just morning coffee. The owners were super responsive when we had questions. Lastly, the location was great for shopping, restaurants and walking along the water. Perfect place to stay at! Highly Recommend!

Girls weekend getaway

This place was perfect for our shopping weekend in Alexandria. Super convenient location. Clean place with spacious rooms. The mattresses were a bit more firm than we prefer, but we all still slept well. Communication was easy.

Beautiful property. Clean. Well appointed and supplied. Excellent and convenient location. Advertised as a 4 bdrm unit but it’s really a 3 bdrm. with a lofted sleeping area included in Bedroom #3. There is no wall or door dividing the spaces. Also, there is no closet in the loft.

Perfect stay in DC

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Old Town Alexandria property. The location was perfect for walking around Old Town and we were able to get into DC within 15-20 minutes. The communication was exceptional and our hosts Laurie and Collin were always quick to respond when we had any concerns.

Perfect property

This property is roomy and comfortable. It is just blocks from waterfront and a fun, easy 20 min walk to Metro - shops, restaurants, coffee shops- through the heart of old town. Many historic buildings in neighborhood as well. The area is safe and you feel safe as well. The property helped make our stay a great one!

We hadn’t been to DC or Old Town Alexandria and chose this property based on walkability and king size beds for our group of three adults and three teens. It was exactly as listed, very clean, very convenient and easy to get to lots of shops and restaurants. Owners very responsive to comms as well.

Wonderful place to stay in Old Town!

Our family chose to stay here instead of a hotel for a short Old Town getaway, and we were all very impressed with this property! The home was very clean, spacious, well appointed, and comfortable, and we enjoyed having the extra space to relax in. The owners are great and responded very quickly to my questions. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Spot

We really enjoyed this home. The location is awesome! The property is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped for large parties. The bathrooms are clean and have nice touches of cotton swabs and q tips as well as hair dryers. There were plenty of towels for everyone. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is bath mats in the bathrooms for getting out of the shower. Since there were so many towels we just used those. Also, the floor in the bathtub/shower in the downstairs bedroom was very slippery so becareful not to slip there. Next time we come back to the area we will definitely stay here again.
