The host allowed early check in and late check out, which we were very grateful for. However, he forgot about our late check out, so cleaners showed up while we were getting ready for a wedding and pressured us to leave. That felt stressful. The house itself is a cool old building. There's tons of potential. But the dining room and living room aren't functional for a house that sleeps 8. There's no dining table. And the living room has only a single loveseat and coffee table. The beds are uncomfortable. I hope all this is remedied over time, so that people can enjoy this unique old home.

The basecamp was a charming old house in a great location to get together with a group of friends for the night. We could have slept 9 quite comfortably (doubled up on full and larger beds) and had ample space to spread out. Some seating had been added since recent reviews, which was great! There was an 8 person table that accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there were towels and washcloths available. The bathrooms were large, but could have been cleaner. We walked to Tavern 46 for drinks and drove just 5 minutes to Blooming Dudas flower farm the next morning- this was a great location for our plans!

Great value and location. House is a little dated, some features need updated and there are limited kitchen/bathroom supplies.

Up stairs was way too hot and they only had one tv in a bedroom and no shampoo. Place was clean though.

This is a nice house, close to stores and restaurants. There are plenty of beds. Although the listing indicates the sofa as a pull out bed, it is actually a loveseat that does not convert to a bed. This home accommodates 8 people for SLEEPING. However, the living room only has a loveseat no other chairs. There were 7 of us and the only way for us to congregate was if most of the group sat on the floor. Not at all comfortable or inviting. The only TV is upstairs in a bedroom. The dining table is a 2-3 person small high top. There are only paper plates, cups, bowls and plastic silverware— no actual plates/bowls/silverware or glasses. It would have been nice to have a toaster. The bed downstairs had what seemed to be construction dust/particles on the sheets. The house itself has obviously had updates made. But it’s all of the other things that made it uncomfortable for our family.
