This is place is a gem! Quiet, off of the beaten trail, & right on the water. Nothing fancy, but then are you on vacation just to stay in a hotel room - No! The bed was comfortable (pillow top mattress) and the people are wonderful! We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks & extended our stay by 1 night because of hurricane damage to our ultimate destination.

Wachapreague Inn

Wachapregue inn is a no frills motel. Out of the way and near fishing (they cater to the fisherman). Clean and neat, across the street from a really nice restaurant and bar. Quiet and quaint village. We enjoyed our stay!

Simple and easy accommodations. Nothing fancy, but if you're looking just for a place to sleep and then be out & about this is an excellent choice. Much more reasonable rates than other places in the area (looking at you major hotel chains!). A jewel of a location and place to stay

Excellent location and great staff. Bathroom could use some updating, but who spends lots of time in there! Also, great places to hang out outside with chairs, side tables, and picnic tables. Beautiful view. Cannot wait to go back.
