House was everything I expected, cute house 10 minutes from Alabama campus. Neighbors were extremely nice. Enjoy the entire weekend. Only improvement is the kitchen lacked silverware and updated cooking ware. Had to buy plastic forks and modify cooking. If that piece gets updated I would give it 5 stars.

Nice location, close to Alabama (10 min drive) but in a quiet area great for relaxing. Tanner was available throughout the process to answer questions as needed. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. 2 full baths was a plus. Easy to kick back and feel at home.

Cute place neat need Campus, rural 'ish'

Cute home with lots of charm close to the university, but with a feeling of rural. Host was very easy to work with and responsive. Plenty of room, thoughtful touches throughout- homey feel. Love a good historical home! Would rent the property again for sure.

Perfect Friends Gathering

We had a group of about 8 people staying a couple of nights at this location for a reunion/birthday celebration. The property was perfect and spacious, but very strict about noise level. We received several notifications about our volume while playing a board game. The host asked us to keep the volume down, but then apologized about the noise gauge being set too low. That was the only issue we ran into, would stay again.

Perfect house close to campus!

We visited our daughter for Parent’s Weekend at Univ of Alabama. This house was perfect for my husband and I and two sons. Immaculately clean, great layout, safe and quiet neighborhood away from the busyness of campus, and there’s also a huge yard around the house. Only 10 minutes for us to get to all the activities on campus, football stadium, restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay here again! The owner, Tanner, is so attentive and answers questions immediately. This is one of the best places we've rented around Tuscaloosa yet! 100% recommend!

Perfect house for graduation weekend!

Perfect. Comfy beds and nicely remodeled home 10 minutes from campus. Nice porch to have coffee in the morning! Recommend for sure!

Visit to T-Town

We had a wonderful time in Tuscaloosa visiting with family. The house and its location was perfect for our needs. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. Our host communicated well with us and responded quickly to our questions. We will definitely want to stay here the next time we visit Tuscaloosa. Thank you for a great trip.

Quaint, Comfortable, Convenient

We had a very nice stay at this Taylorville home. Very convenient location the University of Alabama, restaurants, shopping. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances comfy living room space with nice TV and streaming service. Very nicely updated historical home in a nice and quiet neighborhood.

Excellent location!

We were in town to visit our college student for parents weekend at UA. The location worked really well for us because we were close enough that we could run back and forth as needed to our different event locations, but far enough away to stay out of the very busy areas in town. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful which was great for us. I would certainly recommend this property as a lot of other rentals that are in the area can be overpriced for what you get.

Nice house in a nice neighborhood

Some buddies and I came in to attend the game against Bama. The house served us very well. It was nice that with the two bathrooms that neither was en suite, so we could all access. Clean. Quiet area. Was about a ten minute drive to the university, but we talked with several that had a 90 minute drive home from the game! Bama fans were great, even in defeat (maybe since it is so rare).

Graduation Weekend

The house is great. The location is superb. If you are coming for a game, family weekend, graduation really anything to do with Bama this house is great. We have stayed at a lot of other places for the past 30 + years and this by far was the best.

A Wonderful Stay

Roll Tide - Best experience at The Nest! Southern Charm

Everything was absolutely wonderful! From the flowers and fall decorations to the touches in each room. We loved our stay at the Nest. Conveniently located and great outdoor space. Took advantage of all it had to offer. Can’t wait to come back and stay again. Appreciated the responsiveness and toaster delivery on Thanksgiving morning. 1000% above and beyond.
