We stayed here on a recent college tour. The staff couldn't have been accommodating. Especially Adam and Rita and Adrian - thank you for your sweet southern hospitality! Rooms could use a facelift but I understand it's happening soon. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Please tell Kimberly at the front desk that my entire family and church members appreciate her kindness and hospitaility she always displays she constantly lays out the red carpet. She always goes out her way to make sure we're okay. She deserves to be praised today. Pastor Huey Harris

Had a great stay passing through Tuscaloosa. Front desk staff Adrian was very welcoming as was the morning staff in the Bistro. Mgr Ron Falk has a very good team. Overall a nice place to stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

This Courtyard is just ok, and is easy to get to campus, but needs some refreshing. The rooms are clean, but wallpaper is peeling and the sofa was quite stained(ewww). I guess Marriott is doing away with the breakfast buffet, which is a shame because many families were staying here and the Bistro is a bit pricey and the line was long. One person behind the register and also in charge of the expensive coffee station. Another of the employees had a meltdown in front of hotel guests, slamming doors and throwing a fit in the kitchen, which made several people walk away. Would I stay here again, yes but only if I couldn't get rooms elsewhere.

As a recent Hurricane Irma evacuee from South Florida I have to say the staff, the rooms, the service and hospitality was incredible. They all opened their hearts to all of us (including animals) and we couldn't have been more pleased. A special shout out to Adam & Rita and the entire front desk staff. In fact the state of Alabama in general was awesome considering many of us had no idea what we would be going home to.

There was a large group of us there for business and we were all taken care of so well! Cynthia Wells in the restaurant/bar was great and very friendly and accommodating. Comfy beds, clean facilities. No complaints from me.

As a gold elite member, I am sad to say that this hotel is one of the worst Marriotts we've ever stayed at. We love the Marriott brand because of their attention to detail...but they've missed the mark at this place. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower upon our arrival, the ice machine is broken, the elevator reeks of mold, and to make it worse, is slower than Christmas. These issues could have possibly been overlooked on our part, but the unprofessionalism by the staff was the last straw. We called the front desk tonight to book our room for an additional (3rd) night and the guy who answered said "hold on" and sat the phone down. After waiting on hold for over 16 minutes, my husband hung up and walked down to the front desk only to find the clerk sitting in a booth with other people while the phone was still sitting on the counter! Needless to say, we will not be staying here again tomorrow night, as we have already booked with another Marriott. On a positive note, the beds are comfortable and the AC is cold...but you can probably get that plus some at the Marriotts across the street!

Adam Hall and Kim Gee took care of me in a very special way!! They were very courteous and pleasant. Answered all my questions and needs for the rental of one of the conference rooms. Super pleased with the hotel and staff!!! Highly recommend it!

My second time staying here at the Tuscaloosa Courtyard. Rooms are clean, house keeping excellent. As a Marriott Platinum Elite I stay at a lot of properties and this is nice. Front desk staff very accommodating as I used points and paid one night. Lashanda at the front desk is excellent and will take care of your needs.

We traveled back to Tuscaloosa for a funeral. The staff here helped to make this a more positive experience. Andy, Rickayla and Lashonda were the best. Informative, entertaining and most importantly kind. We were greeted by name upon arrival, our room was ready, clean and cool. Lashonda and Rickayla were always willing and available to provide suggestions for dining and extra activities. After a hard day managing family business we'd return to the hotel and Adam kept us laughing. We are eternally grateful and will definitely visit again. Thank you
