The Arco Iris is situated perfectly next to everything you might need in Tulum food, shopping, ADO Bus, taxis and Collectivos. I loved my hotel rooms efficiency kitchen and roof top pool and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Great small hotel with a good and affordable restaurant in a perfect location. Even though my room faced the main road, it was well insulated and quiet. The room had every modern amenity, and the staff was very friendly and professional. Overall, a wonderful stay and great value!

I recommend

It has a great location, fridge in room, ac that you can control, rooftop pool and I had a balcony for my 5-night stay. The only drawback was the lack of hot water which was not a big deal because of the heat.

Grear price / performance ratio

My stay was great, clean, comfy location, just about 5 mins walking to ADO bus station. All central restaurants and shops in very convenient distance, the only pain was to reach to the beach during night time for party - costs around 600 pesos in taxi one way. Good rooftop terrace - maybe highest point around - so you could watch all the traffic from your safe distance and have a nice swim in the rooftop pool. Maybe the room was too clean! Naftaline tablets from the toilet too strong smelling :). Cleaning ladies really wanted to clean my room daily so that I have the best experience. I loved the staff!!! Especially Fernando (please speak to him, this guys really knows!) and Maggie.

We had a great time staying at the Arco Iris. We came to Tulum on the bus, and the hotel was only a block or so away. We were right on the main strip with plenty of access to restaurants and shopping. Even with that location, however, it was quiet in the room. The room was very small and efficient, but it had everything we needed. The shower was amazing. My son really enjoyed the rooftop pool also! Easy to rent a bike and ride to the ruins or the beach, and the Colectivos parked just outside the hotel. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great Service Okay Hotel Bring Your Own Soap

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pool and lounge chairs at the roof top were awesome. The location is centrally located without need of a car if you are doing many of the tours around the area or on street parking if you have a car. The place was clean but very basic. The rooms you get what you paid for, so I can't complain. Very basic college dorm rooms with no TV, shampoo or soap so make sure you bring your own.

Clean and comfortable

It was a nice clean spot with a cool pool and gym on the roof. The staff was friendly. The hotel was pretty quiet when we stayed luckily, but we definitely could hear everything through the walls. It also would have been cool if they had bikes for rent, included breakfast, and if the safe had worked. But overall it was a great spot for the money, we felt very safe and comfortable there. We liked it so much we extended our stay.
