Beautiful and comfortable

What a beautiful facility with stunning views, conveniently located in Torrey and near Capitol Reef. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the argan oil shower products. The lady at the spa was very helpful and my husband got an Epsom salt bath soak to help with back pain. We wish that we could have stayed longer. The hallway is noisy but we slept with a fan and didn’t hear the foot traffic until morning.

This hotel isn’t going to be the highlight of your trip, but it was clean, safe, and quiet. Exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking and exploring Capital Reef. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a quiet, clean and well managed property, I would recommend for anyone who is in the area to stay at this lovely hotel. Only two things I would recommend for the property to pay attention to. 1. They send texts and stating property respond to the text and they don’t. The front desk states they don’t get the texts. So if you are like me, trying to communicate with the property via the text they send you, please take a note. 2. The hot tub is a nice feature but so much chlorine and chemicals in it that my eyes and lungs got burned not while I was in it for a short while even the next day I can still smell 5e chemicals. I think instead of cleaning properly they are keep adding chemicals or using too much of it. That needs to be taken care of. It is toxic. The other guests were stating the same,

Nice room and view. Staff were friendly. Only negative is no free breakfast (we’re spoiled by Best Western facilities). Breakfast is available at their restaurant.

After a wild drive through a heavy snowstorm coming from Bryce Canyon, the warm welcome we received at Red Sands Hotel made all the difference. The gentleman at the front desk provided excellent customer service—he was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially since we were traveling with our dog. His kindness and guidance really helped us settle in and made the whole experience much more comfortable. Grateful for the hospitality after such a rough drive!

I talked to three different employees our first night to try and get the outdoor fire pit lit to no avail. Our 2nd night they tried to light it but couldn’t figure out how to keep it lit. The slightest breeze blew part of it out so propane was just leaking out. Also had the worst meal from the on site restaurant. The lasagna was bad, I had to throw it away and it wasn’t cheap.

Lovely modern room with nice views of mountains

Really nice room with views over to the mountains. Lovely pool but unfortunately full of children so didn’t have a chance to enjoy it. Nice touches like iced water and good selection of coffees etc. in reception and laundry services.

Staff was very nice and helpful and rooms were clean and beds comfy. My only complaint was that we faced the parking lot and there was a very bright light in the parking lot that blasted into our room. They provided wonderful shades but we like to sleep with the window open so shades needed to be up.
