I stayed at this hotel during the Easter holiday and overall, it’s definitely a good place to stay in Tallinn. Everything feels new or at least very well maintained, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
That said, it feels like the hotel is just one small step away from being truly excellent. My room was nice and clean, but there were some odd details: for example, there were originally two trash bins, but one disappeared after the first cleaning and was never replaced. Similarly, some towels vanished during housekeeping and weren’t replenished.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, though I found the plates a bit on the small side. Also, there was some inconsistency with coffee and tea service — some mornings the orders were taken at the table, other days I had to go to the bar myself to place an order.
The location is good, but of course it depends a lot on what you plan to do. Stockmann department store is right next door, which makes picking up essentials and doing a bit of shopping really convenient. The walk to the Old Town is manageable, especially if the weather is nice. However, it’s worth mentioning that there isn’t much to do immediately around the hotel itself.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for Tallinn, but a few small improvements would make the experience even better.
