Everything was good, staff was great. Please accept the limitations of a historic hotel - no elevator, air conditioning was ineffective.

Nice stay for the price. It may be important for some folks. This hotel does not have any elevator. It wasn't an issue for us, but may be a deterrent for others. Staff was friendly.

This is a fantastic old house with good bones! We had dinner in the main restaurant and the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. They also have a pizza parlor and a tavern which we did not visit, but those would have been nice options if we had stayed more than one night. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was large and clean. The only downside was that the shower handle didn't work quite right and so it was almost impossible to get the shower water temperature right, but I think it was a minor and easy issue for the maintenance staff to fix so I don't expect that to be an issue next time. I would definitely stay here again. The area is wonderful as well. Parking is a little far - behind the building down a side street.

This place is a classic! Our room was comfy & quiet. Bathroom facilities could do with an update, but everything was super clean ... and the staff was warm and welcoming.

This hotel has so much potential as a historic property, but unfortunately, it seems understaffed and not well maintained. I truly appreciate that they are pet-friendly, that was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here, along with its convenient location near town. Check-in was at 4 p.m., and I arrived at 6 p.m. My assigned room was right next to the stairs, but when I entered, it had not been cleaned, the bed was unmade, and dirty sheets were left on the floor. I notified the front desk, and while the clerk seemed surprised, they offered me a different room on a higher floor. I accepted, though it was inconvenient since my 35-lb dog is afraid of stairs, and I had to carry her up another level. The new room looked somewhat better, but it appeared as if someone had sat on the bed. The clerk didn’t seem concerned when I mentioned it. The sheets seemed clean, so I let it go, but the chairs smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the shower liner was dirty. The building itself has charm and great potential, but the lack of cleanliness and upkeep made my stay disappointing. I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, but I couldn’t wait to check out.

Nice historic hotel but I was not made aware that they had a wedding happening and my room was right above the dance floor so it wasn't the most peaceful stay. If people are staying during a wedding event there placement of hotel room should be taken into consideration. Air conditioners are in the windows of the rooms so if the room looks over the street you hear the road noise as well

My only hesitation for a perfect rating was a bit of difficulty with the valve that switches the water from the bath tub faucet to the showerhead.

Great staff.

I had a wonderful stay for one night with my cat. I’m 71 years old and I travel solo. When I rented it, I didn’t realize it didn’t have an elevator, and my room was on the third floor. The staff helped me carry my stuff up as it was very difficult for me. And then when I checked out another person helped me, take my stuff down the stairs. I had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant. I recommend this place!

Charming historical Inn with a variety of 23 rooms, clean & organized, full menu shared by garden patio, dining room, & pub. Our room was very adequate, separate spaces for double beds & tv’s, nice roomy bathroom in between. Mattress upgrades would have been wonderful! We had dinner in the pub, & breakfast down the street at Dave’s Diner. We have been to Cazenovia several times & love it. The price of the room was very affordable on Hotels.com
