Adequate airport hotel

Hotel was fine for a quick overnight stay. Nothing special. Had good parking next door in a multistory, though it would have been much cheaper to just pay the $12 overnight parking rate in the building than the $30 through the hotel. Beds were very hard cheap mattress and the hotel ran out of hot water at night. Breakfast had a good selection of hot meals, but by 7am the bacon, sausages and potato was already very dry and stale like it had been out for hours. Overall, adequate but average.

An easy place to stay or to stopover when travelling through either Sydney International or Domestic Airports. Staff are friendly and helpful, the place is clean and comfortable and the restaurant and bar are adequate. Better food, drink, shopping etc. are just a short walk away in the Mascot precinct. A trip into the centre of Sydney by train or whatever is also easy if you are so inclined or have the time. The hotel has a shuttle bus service to and from the airport which runs from the carpark at the back of the hotel. It is cheap, runs frequently and is well organised. Itโ€™s only about a 10 min drive or so between the airport and the hotel and the cost is $10 from door to door. So, if you donโ€™t have personal transport, use that! (There is also parking available at the hotel and surrounds). But forget taxis and Ubers for airport travel. Too expensive!!! I recently travelled from Canberra to Sydney Airport. My plan was to have a one night stopover at the Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport before flying out from Sydney International Airport the next day. As it was quite late in the evening, I made the mistake of taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost me a whooping $56! For the 10 min trip!! Plus the taxi driver was mad because I was obviously not the super expensive fare he was hoping for from the airport! Hundreds of $$ maybe?? Uber were possibly cheaper but what a queue โ€ฆ. Next morning it was the hotel airport shuttle bus for me. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Absolutely loved the blockout blinds for a sleep and reset, it honestly made the trip refreshing. The hotel has great facilities, safe location and close to public transport. Could not hear any airport noise inside our room.

A great property for easy access to SYD airport, which is only about a 10 min walk . Plenty of eateries etc at Mascot shops , about 8 min walk, as well as Mascot train station. If going into Sydney city , get train from Mascot , its only $5.00 compared to the $21 from airport. Hotel was extremely clean , breakfast was good. Bar area had plenty of chairs to sit around. My Suggestion for hotel would be for the bar to do coffee in take away cups also , as after a long day travelling , we didnt want to sit at the bar and have a brewed coffee , we wanted to take it to the room , but unfortunately they dont do take away. My suggestion

Good location for a stop over in Sydney

Very convenient location, clean, and customer service was great. However be aware that the airport shuttle that they offer from the hotel is not "courtesy" you will need to pay for it. Uber also cost a bit for a 5 minute ride. just plan ahead.
