"Me and my partner loved how relaxed we felt. The area is calm, the on site amenities were great! Overall, we had a great stay and the staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful. The only negative experience was with the complimentary valet service. When my fiancé did not leave a tip, two valet employees appeared visibly displeased and gave him unfriendly looks, which made us feel uncomfortable. We understand tips are appreciated, but guests should feel welcome regardless of whether they tip. We do want to acknowledge one of the valet employees who was amazing! Unfortunately I don’t remember his name, but he always gave a great welcoming attitude! We stayed last year and we immediately recognized him. We wanted to give him a tip but he was not there on our last day, but we will sure tip him next time we stay! Other than that, our experience was excellent."

"The location was good, not great. The city is busy and the hotel was located two blocks off the main drag on a cul de sac which was nice, but on the opposite side was a freeway. Having said that, I was first checked in to a room right off said freeway and I'm sorry, but too noisy for me. The staff were very accommodating, though, and gave me a room much quieter. Having said that, though, although much quieter, the door in this room would not close on its own, but rather had to be pulled shut. Not good for security. Also, the coffee amenity for the room was terrible! Small coffee pot for barely a cup, and cheap coffee at that. I expect more! Thankfully the coffee bar in the lobby was nice, though having to go down first thing in the morning was inconvenient. Not cool. I'm really not hard to please and don't want to be negative here. All things considered, the hotel was clean and in a good location, reasonably priced, and the amenities were good. But the staff were great. Friendly, efficient, accommodating, and very personable, they were great."
