We have stayed here multiple times over the last few years and honestly it’s an older building and worn so I know that and deal with it to avoid the Strip. This time however our room had three lights that didn’t work, like one was missing a switch. On top of that there was food left in the microwave that was definitely not ours. The in room coffee maker had supplies left that were open! Normally we really have no issues big enough to worry about. I hope it’s just a fluke cause we love being able to avoid the chaos of the Strip and Fremont and is near our favorite spot Aces and Ales.

This LaQuinta hotel was run down and dirty. The carpets were filthy, lighting dusty, rooms were minimally cleaned and run down. There are two elevators and one was broken. The hot tub was broken. Our room was never cleaned and had to use the same towels everyday. Same breakfast everyday with no variety. The front desk was not friendly and acted like checking us in was a huge inconvenience. We will NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again. The worst hotel experience ever.

Property was what we had hoped and great location.

The air had a musty smell. The shower curtain rod was hanging down, the door to the mini fridge was broken, the bathroom doors would not close and the " popcorn" texture on the ceiling was crumbling off. Finally, the elevator showed signs of needing maintenance, and the breakfast bar kept blowing a circuit breaker.

Property is not 7 miles away from the strip. It’s 25 min away from strip.

Cleanliness was a factor. The property itself was in fair condition but there was a lack of attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and lobby area.

Did not like the smell of smoke in my room, the poor cable tv package with channels like ESPN which would not play, barking dog in room next door, slippery floor, and a broken water sprinkler wasting water in the hottest part of the day. Also no skin lotion or shampoo...just lots of conditioner. Only two elevators and both were small and very tight to get into, especially with the cart carrying my luggage.

The property is nice, you could just tell it’s getting older mostly because the shower/tub showed some rust. The elevator by the front felt a little sketchy too. That said the staff was super nice and helpful and the free breakfast was really nice. There was so much to choose from for it all the way from fruit and cereal to waffles and bacon. I’d much rather stay here and enjoy the smoke free and quiet than the strip or Fremont any day.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are starting to show their age. Bath tub had stains. Stains on handles on the bathroom doors. There can be lots of freeway noise.
