Welcome to Rhoda's Place, a cozy, welcoming two-bedroom apartment, with washer & dryer, steps to downtown St. John’s and a quick 15 minutes from St. John's International Airport. Perfectly situated just steps from our best restaurants and lively nightlife, this prime location offers easy, under 10 minute walking distance access to George Street, the Convention Centre and all the historic charm of the St. John's core. This space is an ideal base for exploring the St. John's' vibrant, colourful downtown atmosphere.
Those steps may go downhill, which is easy; uphill back? This depends - there are also plenty of Uber and Taxi's available at a reasonable rate.
As you step into Rhoda's living room, you'll find a space carefully arranged to promote relaxation and comfort. A smart TV with Bell Fibe wifi is ready for streaming all your faves, while a selection of books and games are thoughtfully placed for your fun and enjoyment as well.
Primary bedroom features a dreamy Queen-sized bed and a full closet for all your unpacking and settling in needs. As well, this bedroom offers access to the private, fully fenced backyard - and through there access to your own laundry room, strictly for your use during your stay.
The secondary bedroom offers a comfy Double-sized bed and smaller closet with generous space to move around and make your own.
Rhoda's kitchen is thoughtfully equipped and fully functional. It includes essential items like full stove/ oven, fridge, dish cloths, towels, cutlery and kitchen tools, a microwave, and a toaster, ensuring you have all the assistance necessary to prepare meals with ease.
You have a dedicated dining area designed for meals, but it’s also flexible enough to double as a space for games, puzzles, or a simple, functional desk setup for work when needed—making it a versatile hub for dining, play, and productivity during your stay.

This apartment was as advertised and the host was very responsive to inquiries. It’s a great location for attending events at the Mary Brown’s Centre. Sound carries between units in this building so earplugs might be a good idea for light sleepers.
