Our room didn't have an outside window! It faced an indoor art gallery! So weird! Wanted to leave room immediately but nothing was available. Had to leave hotel a day early due to sudden family emergency. Didn't get any money back and never even got an email apologizing that maybe they couldn't do anything.

Between Exiles and Zimmy’s, Mojo’s and the JAG cafe, it is possible not to leave the JAG at all. However, should the music get too loud for you, Water street and George street are less than a hop skip and jump away.

I was not in the new section of the hotel. The old section was far away from reception and the valet service. The room was dated and had frayed seats on chairs -- it needs a refresh.

One of the best mid-range hotels I've ever stayed at. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfy. The full size chocolate bar from Newfoundland Chocolate Company was such a cute (and delicious) welcome gift. The full-sized walk-in shower was also gorgeous and not something you always get at this price point. Would definitely recommend the property and will stay here again on future trips to St. John's.

A fabulous place to stay in St. John’s. It’s walkable to many restaurants, the service was friendly and efficient and enjoyed the chocolate bar 😍. The music theme is awesome and enjoyed the little touches like a card with a quote. We had a great breakfast included. A wonderful stay!

The hotel was uniquely designed in a way music lovers will appreciate. Close to downtown St John's, but still far enough away that if you have an early night you won't be disturbed. It is right next to the shipping harbour, so there was some noise (if you're a lighter sleeper). Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

The customer service is top-notch. We arrived about half an hour early to drop off our bags, but the front staff checked and let us know that our room was ready! Special shoutout to the door staff as well, since they were always helpful with our questions. The pictures on the website are accurate, both in terms of the common areas and the double queen room that we had booked. The hotel is in a great location, with easy walking access to downtown and other amenities. The bus stop going to the mall and Memorial University is also very close. The gym was excellent and beyond my expectations. It was spacious and had both cardio and weight machines. The windows were large, which allowed natural light to come in. Although I did run outside once, I used the gym several times during my stay. It was always clean. We also enjoyed our meal at Exile restaurant, which is located on the first floor. The cafe downstairs also had a solid assortment of hot drinks, although some of the croissants sold out pretty quickly. Highly recommended!

This hotel is AMAZING!!! The best of the best. Very unique. Never seen anything like it. The dining at the Exile is phenonmenol. And the bar at the lobby when you walk in through the main entrance is also spectacular. Decorations are one of a kind. Real rock'n'roll. I love this place and close to all the fun stuff downtown.
