We loved the view from our balcony. Everything was good. Except the door doesn't have a double security lock. My toddler can open the door lock and can sneak out. That is the only I didn't like. Other than that it was all fine.

This is an older property that has been nicely remodeled (new paint, floors, bathroom). The beds and bathroom were very comfortable and quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided through dispensers in the shower. Our room had a balcony with a view of the bay. Complimentary breakfast of coffee/tea, yogurt, cereal, and cake doughnuts was provided. It was just okay. The beds were clean; however, other surfaces were not as clean as they should have been. Wood furniture was old and very dusty. Floors needed a good mopping and shower showed evidence of prior occupants. We did enjoy being able to leave our car at the motel and walk to shops and restaurants. Would recommend The Herring Pub and Maison Kennedy House for beer and seafood.

The view is outstanding, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately, we were on the 2nd floor and late at night, someone above us was pacing back and forth for a very long time which was very noisy - a lot of thumping and floor squeaking. The hotel is getting old and would benefit from some sprucing-up. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Hint: ask for a room on the 3rd floor if you want to have a good night sleep.

Awesome location. View was fabulous . Staff were great. Advertised pool that was too cold to get in. Breakfast was coffee doughnuts and yogurt. TV was worse than country cable. It rained all day. The cable connection was very bad and there was no music stations. Towels were stained and off white. People smoking on decks. The heat/cool unit in the room was noisy. Woke us up in the night.

From the time we checked in until we left ,the staff were all so friendly,offered to help us withbour bags,they offered complimentary dognuts,yogurt,coffee,tea for free.each am.This is not advertised on the web page which I suggested.the sigI would only have one negative and a suggestion.I suggested maybe keep one or two fold down seats for shower for anyone that cant stand we had my friend who has cancer and cant stand long,they said absolutely will look into it,the heating system needs to be updated as it was hard to regulate,which im sure with all the beautiful renos being done it may be on their list.The pool looked great but we didnt use it,we had a balcony view which was amazing.Only thing needing updated was the dressers,not a deal breaker .Had the best night sleep beds n pillows were great.we will be back againhad
