It’s a dump. They need to do a pretty massive overhaul to make this place match what it costs to stay here. The only good thing about my stay is that the morning shift guy who checked me out, refunded part of my bill when I notified him that the people staying next to me spent all night and the early morning hours, fighting… LOUDLY.

Upon arrival the fridge in our room worked. When we came back several hours later some how the plug in got tripped and all our food was warm and gross in the fridge. Half the lights didn’t work. The hair dryer didn’t work. We didn’t bother calling to change rooms as we were only staying one night. Went to hot tub/sauna at 9pm because all signs said it closed at 10pm and were promptly told that wasn’t true, it was 930. Then when checking out, I asked for ice because the ice machine was out of order and a sign was posted to ask the front desk. All I got an eye roll and passed a bag of ice like it was the most inconvenient thing I could have asked. Wasn’t a great stay.

Very basic and seemly unkept, loud air conditioning but it did work. Lots of places to eat in the area but commercialized. Had trouble with tv , clerk treated me like a inconvenience, border rude. for 400$ plus go elsewhere.

Great location. Nice room with very comfortable beds. Thought an uncovered electrical box in the bathroom could have been covered for safety purposes. Otherwise, great.

Weird experienc

Weird experience at check-in, was offered a discount if I paid cash that night, without a receipt. Which I refused to do. Manager was confused about it all in the morning, but gave us the discount. Room was ok, could hear the people above us walking really clearly, blood stain on one of the mattress cover. But beds were really comfortable. Another weird thing is that the Front desk person refused for us to take the hot tub towel to the room. Forced us to leave them at the front desk, making me and my child drip water all the way to our room.

I couldn't sleep because of the noise from upstairs. I called the front desk twice within 15 minutes of each other, but still someone were jumping out of bed and running around room. The ceiling was so poorly insulated that it creaked so loudly. Finally, I went down to the front desk at 10:30 pm to complain. I was tired after a long like, so I went to bed at ( pm, but I woke up once and couldn't sleep for a long time. I paid $ 486...I was so disappointed.

Convenient stop on way to Whistler. Close to stunning scenery and what was used as the outside shots for Jack's Bar in Virgin River TV show. Basic accommodation but reasonable value.
