Great location at the end of the Main Street. Rooms were very comfortable and a great pub on site. Breakfast selection was poor and no real breakfast area.

Comfy room and beds, quiet, clean room and we were impressed by the daily cleaning crew with how nicely made up the room was each day. The Inn is conveniently located, and parking was abundant. We wish the room had been more brightly lit, and that there was more substance to the continental breakfast. That said, we would choose to stay at Howe Sound Inn and Brewing Company again.

The bed was a terrible night sleep… staff were pleasant BUT forgot to inform us of routine experiences … wifi password, breakfast etc… I don’t feel after driving for a long day , I should have to remind my booking clerk to tell me all the important information.. breakfast very disappointing.. no coffee pot , no water only a juice box and some cookies or day old donuts .

Disappointing hotel at the price

The hotel is in a good location with free parking opposite. We were in room 1 which is next to the bar area. This was really noisy until closing time with loud music and TVs. We could have taken part in the pub quiz from our bed. The rooms are adequate but dated, the shower makes a terrible loud noise when running. The bed was however comfortable Breakfast was very poor, something you'd expect from a backpackers 20 years ago. At £200 a night this was a very poor hotel, we wouldn't come back or recommend, a refund would be more appropriate

the property was really old; the stairs were squeky; the room smelled old; the throw pillows needed replacing. the bath tub was not clean, and the water pressure in the shower was slow/weak. there was only street parking for guests which was very limited and so-first come first served. the pub food was decent, and the servers were nice; the check in staff were also pleasant

The hotel is well located, walking distance to a lot of great cafes and breweries. The bed was super comfortable, and the addition of the AC is a great touch. There were some more disappointing things. For one, there was no bathroom fan which was surprising. Our bathroom door also did not close. The most disappointing thing was the single flush toilet, using 14L per flush. For a property that prides themself on being eco friendly (ie. only cleaning rooms and towels when requested) this is kind of surprising. We would strongly suggest you consider this.
