First impressions are everything, and this hotel nailed it! I've never been greeted by a hotel associate in the parking lot, so that was a bit shocking - in the best way. This hotel, and all the staff, went above and beyond to make sure we were well-informed, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. I was blown away by all the sincere and generous people at the hotel. The customer service certainly exceeded my expectations.
For myself, my husband, and my two boys (13 and 9), the location of the hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was only a one-night stay, so we were honestly just looking for a nice place to rest our heads, that was also in a good location. We were within a short walking distance to many food options, and the location seemed to be nice and safe. It was the perfect place to stroll the streets, and take in the sights.
Our room was beautiful, with plenty of space for all 4 of us. It had extra chairs, a bench and a little table, which I loved. Everything was clean and the room details were very thoughtful. My ONLY complaint, which I should have expected with an older, remodeled hotel, was the noise level at night. Unfortunately, I could hear everything outside and inside the hotel, which was surprising, as I am usually a great sleeper. They did have earplugs on the nightstand, which ended up helping. Something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.
Otherwise, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.
