We choose properties like the 17Hundred90 Inn because of its historicl value. This inn is somewhat unique in that it is actual a combination of three buildings; two were constructed between 1821 and 1823 and a third was built in 1888. Seeing architecture this old which is still standing is interesting, as are the stories that are associated with it, such as the inn being haunted, if you choose to believe in such things. In all, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering suggestions of where to eat brakfast or lunch (they have their own restaurant and bar for dinner), as well as where to look for antiques in the city. Overall, we would stay at the 17Hundred90 again in the future.

The staff is super! The Inn is in the perfect location for shopping and restaurants - walkable to almost everything. The atmosphere in the Inn is definitely a bit spooky, especially at night. But no visits from the spirit world during our visit. LOL

We had one of the inn's rooms without windows, so right away the dark room was off-putting (it is a renovated 18th century inn, thus the interior guest rooms, but I wish it was made clearer when I made the reservation). There were stains on the carpet & settee, and the bathroom looked ready for a re-do, although the huge four-poster bed was comfy and the location couldn't have been better for exploring the city.

Loved our stay except we were very disappointed that we were not able to dine in the restaurant, even though we were staying there. No one mentioned how busy they get and that you needed a reservation when we checked in. We had plans the first night and thought we would dine in on our second and last night and that didn't happen. They didn't even try to accommodate us even though we paid to stay there, very disappointing.

The property is very old, which is what makes it charming. The restaurant is always packed but the adjoining pub usually has some availability with food service from the restaurant. The pub is very warm and charming. The whole place is warm, charming and comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The staff were friendly and always responsive to any needs or questions. The property had the charm and character we were looking for and added to our experience in Savannah. The bed was extremely comfortable and the a/c kept our room cool.The WiFi was reliable and having a smart TV was nice touch. We would definitely stay again on future visits.

I know we chose to stay in a 230 year old Inn. The atmosphere fit the bill but some amenities could be updated. Minimal hot water to shower, maybe put some tissues in the room, any type of breakfast would be nice, bedding was poor, room furnishings were not nice at all. Staying in an old historic inn is fine but not living like it’s 1790.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Linens and towels were clean. The only window in my room looked out on a hallway, which had lights on all night. Even with curtains, the light made it hard to get to sleep. Noise from the bar downstairs, and the staff areas, comes into the room and echoes in the halls. Everything creaks due to the age of the place. Location is very good. Altogether, not worth the price.

The location is very nice - quiet neighborhood but a few things could change to improve the stay. The bed was rock hard and the blanket or bedspread did not smell very fresh. The two free drinks at the bar were appreciated!

Only a solo one nighter but love this place!
Fantastic old building from 1790s. Really feel historic Savannah in this place. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant but heard good things from others who have. Easily walkable to all the nice spots. Parking is a little tricky but they helped me through it. (All of old town Savannah is a parking nightmare.) Overall I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back for sure.

Had an excellent dinner at the bar. Great Inn to stay at but didn’t experience any ghosties. Several coffee shops in area for the morning.
