When we walked in the bed was unmade.. which made me question if it was changed at all after previous guests.. when we moved bed cover there was someone’s t-shirt… NO towels at all, no fridge/coffee/microwave (just be aware) and AC made a huge puddle on the floor only after several hours running. Thank you for the t-shirt, previous owner. What we will wake up to in the morning I wonder.

Good small basic room for 1 night on the way to Alpes. Easy late check in, room was clean, water hot. Car park space.

Terrible experience...and charged twice.

The machine that replaces the reception would only give me a key if I paid with a credit card instantly, and it ignored the fact that I had already pre-paid on Expedia ! As it was past midnight, and the common reception at the adjacent hotel was already closed, I had no choice but to pay AGAIN. So ended up paying twice ! Will never again trust this chain. To add insult to injury, this place is honestly dirty, with questionable floors and humidity stains on the walls. The lights in the bedroom did not work, I had to light up the bathroom and leave its door open to have light. It is super minimal and old as far as decor is concerned, and the only plug to recharge your phone is the TV plug, high up close to the ceiling !

I understand the concept of these hotels but not for me - too cheap and cheerful. Hotel was in need of some TLC. Food was available and close by Campanile but was very basic. Went into Avallon - 3 miles? for a decent meal.
