The house is fantastic and the people are incredible! Marilyn is a gem and Regina made some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Highly reccomend and we will be back. Seriously, first class and all their reccomendations were amazing!

We were very excited to stay at Villa Madera - Monte Bello and it did not disappoint. The gated community is a nice benefit to add an extra layer of security in an unfamiliar area. From the moment we arrived the view from the outdoor patio/pool area was fantastic. Fortuitously, each evening of our stay the sunset got better and better. The layout of the house is really well done. The entrance to the house has the foyer and laundry room away from the rest of the house. The first bedroom is a great set up for multiple kids with a bunk bed. The living room is very spacious and a great open concept from the kitchen area so no one is closed off in this area. Further down the hallway is the second bedroom with a idea for a second couple. And finally the last bedroom is the Master. It is fantastic! Very roomy with glorious views of the pool and ocean. The outside patio area has multiple seating areas and a nice hammock. There is an outdoor grill, but we never utilized it. The infinity pool was quite nice as well. There is a half mile uphill drive from the gated entrance to the house. The beach area is not really walkable from the house unless you want a serious workout walking back uphill after sun and sand at the beach. I would highly recommend this house for a family vacation. Marilyn was very attentive to our stay and if we needed anything (which we did not) she was ready to serve. There is a small grocery store right next to the entrance to the gated community.

Our family had the most amazing stay at Villa Madera! The home is beautiful, and it is exactly as pictured. The pool and views are stunning. Marilyn patiently helped us plan all of our activities. She arranged transportation, helped with meals, and coordinated logistics. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay! Thank you so much for everything. It was truly an incredible week! Excellent relaxing vacation

We had an amazing stay at Villa Madera. The staff was great, the property was clean and spacious and in a quiet, private neighborhood. Easy access to beach, groceries, restaurants. Would highly recommend. We were a family of 4 but could easily house two families with 3-4 small kids. Poole and patio are amazing! Definitely rent a car.

Beautiful Getaway

My family and I had a lovely stay here. The house management team was very helpful and accommodating, the neighborhood was beautiful and secure, and the house was clean and beautifully perched at the top of a gorgeous hill just in the right spot to have an absolutely perfect view. Close to a number of great restaurants and nice beaches, we highly recommended it to anyone wanting to get away to a quiet sanctuary!

From the booking of the villas tot he last day was smooth and more than easy. Greeted with a bottle of champagne started the trip off amazing. Bryan helped me the whole way. To booking a private chef to helping me with a 3rd party yacht i had booked. I wish i could’ve stayed longer based on how good we were taken care of. I’ve stayed at many different places and by far was the best experience. I give two thimbs up and 10 stars! Thank you to the staff that made our trip so seamless.

The property management company and owner were just fabulous. My 4 kids and I were taken aback by the breath taking views from the infinity pool and patio. It was just wonderful. The property management company also helped set up excursions - white water rafting, Vandara Adventure Park, deep sea fishing/whale watching/swimming with turtles - which all were just amazing. We hope to be back in the years ahead! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

An absolutely amazing stay in Costa Rica

From the time we arrived until the time we left, we felt like we were in heaven at this beautiful home. All the people that took care of us from Brian, the main concierge, to the wonderful staff that cooked breakfast were kind, helpful and wonderful. The house on the listing is beautiful but it’s even more awesome in person. The pool and hot tub made for a perfect place to spend family time and the excursions that Brian helped us set up were all so much fun. The best part of the home was the outdoor space but the inside was also great with comfortable beds and a kitchen that had all we needed. This vacation was more than we ever could have hoped for and I highly recommend booking your next vacation here. We can’t wait to come back.

Already looking to return...

I sense I'm at the beginning stage of this amazing secret getting out to the world. The staff and owner deserve 5 stars. However, selfishly I don't want to say it too loudly so availability remains for our return visits. We took advantage of advance grocery delivery, enjoyed American and Costa Rican breakfasts prepared by our housekeeper/cook and soaked in the sun at the infinity pool overlooking the beautiful bay view. My favorite was the calmness of the morning of sipping local coffee, listening to the bird songs, watching the boats in the bay head off for their early morning adventures. I'm scouring our schedule and searching flights, eager to book our next stay at Villa Madera

Séjour exceptionnel dans un lieu magnifique

Notre séjour fut vraiment très agréable. Bryan, le responsable de la maison est excessivement gentil. Il nous a aidé à planifier différentes activités. La maison est magnifique. Elle offre une vue non-obstruée à la mer avec la végétation luxuriante. Les couchers du soleil sont à couper le souffle. La piscine est parfaitement orientée et la maison est excessivement lumineuse. L’aménagement paysager a été fait avec soin et est de toute beauté. L’espace cuisine est bien pensé et spacieux. Les chambres sont très confortables. Cette maison est vraiment excessivement agréable. Des cuisiniers sont venus à la maison nous préparer un repas. Marjorie et Andrea nous ont préparé du mai-mai et de la pieuvre ainsi qu’une pana cota de mangue sur coulis de noix de coco. C’était absolument excellent. Ces deux chefs sont sympathiques et très passionnés par leur travail. Je les recommande vivement!

Our First Costa Rican Adventure at Villa Madera This was our inaugural trip to Costa Rica, and Villa Madera exceeded all expectations! (Although part of me wants to keep this hidden gem a secret). Even before arriving, the owner went above and beyond by personally emailing us and connecting us with our dedicated staff leader, Brian. Weeks prior to our stay, Brian provided invaluable information about the area and arranged private excursions tailored to our interests. He patiently answered our myriad questions about the airport, cell phone connectivity, and using Waze for navigation. His attentiveness put our minds at ease. Upon arrival, we were awestruck by the warm welcome – a chilled glass of cava and fresh juice awaited us, followed by a comprehensive tour of the property by Edgar. He meticulously explained the villa's amenities and highlighted local attractions worth exploring on our own. The immaculate house was a testament to attention to detail, but it was the breathtaking pool and panoramic views that truly stole the show. Why leave such paradise? Our stay was nothing short of perfection. Each morning, Ityarisa and Alejandro prepared made-to-order breakfast delicacies on the patio while we leisurely enjoyed the stunning vistas. During our daily adventures, they diligently refreshed the house. Amazing Villa and Host

We had a very relaxing stay at Villa Madera. The Villa is very clean with comfortable furnishings. The outdoor space has a great overhang for when the sun gets too hot and plenty of seating areas for everyone to spread out. The pool and view are great too! Rinku is a very attentive host and checks in to make sure all our needs were taken care of. When I asked her where I could buy a magic bullet she had one sent to the Villa. Along with the staff at Zindis all our needs were taken care of.

Spectacular property!!

This property is by far one of the most beautiful, convenient, and accommodating Vrbo properties we have ever visited. The amenities and property staff were second to none. This property far exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend the location, the fabulous views, and a pool that pleases everyone!! We highly recommend and hope to return to Costa Rica again one day.

Paradise in Costa Rica!

Recently returned from our one week escape to this magnificent home in the hilltops overlooking Playa Hermosa. The views are breathtaking and this house has everything you could want both inside and out. Brian helped us plan a week full of activities, and all of our meals whether at wonderful restaurants in nearby towns, chef cooked meals in the house, or getting the groceries we needed to BBQ for ourselves. Brian and the rest of the Zindis team were in constant contact and were the most dedicated and effective management company we have ever worked with. The combination of the location, amenities and service just can't be beat. We'll be back!!!

You can't beat the view

My family rented this villa the week before Christmas, and had a great time overall. Loved.... 1) The view is magnificent. The property is on a hill and the pictures do not do the view justice, it is a full panoramic view of the ocean and the green forest below. 2) The villa has full concierge service, and we took full advantage of that. Bryan from Zindis took care of activities, rental car, dinner reservations, in home massage, personal chef, coordination with cleaning and cooking staff. Edgar is the property manager and he was available 24/7 to help. We had the daily cleaning staff come 2x to tidy up the main room/cook breakfast. 3) Property is in a gated community, which made us feel safe. You can walk to the beach, but it is better to do the short drive. 4) House itself is modern and comfortable. Beds were nice. Pool/patio is great. Showers had hot water/decent pressure. Things to improve 1) Biggest single issue was fact they did not tell us about construction in the community, including directly below this property. We heard sawing and hammering from 6 am to 6 pm. I understand construction happens, but we paid A LOT ($5000/night) for this rental, and for that price we should have had peace and quiet. Advice is to discount during construction/tell potential renters up front. 2) Hot tub flows into pool so hard to keep it hot and pool cool. 3) Some items could be upgraded at this price pt - coffee, grill, patio furniture.
