Wonderful location, house and staff

We really enjoyed this place. The location is very convenient just up the hill from the beach access. The place is just as listed, clean and nice. The pool is lovely and an amazing view of the beach. Note there is not a hot tub, just an extension to the pool.Just as important, the Zindis team was amazing to work with. Incredibly responsive to any of our questions and helped reserve and pay for all of our excursions. This was very valuable. We'd absolutely rent here again.

Incredible Costa Rica Property

Our family has stayed at VRBO properties around the globe, and this one is among our favourites. With three beds and three baths, we had ample room for a family of four with two teens. The property could certainly accommodate more as there are good living/relaxation areas to spread out. We loved the covered patio and spent a good amount of time there enjoying the spectacular view over the bay and beach. The sunsets were incredible! The pool is warm and thoroughly enjoyable both day and night. The kitchen was well-equipped, although with many restaurant options nearby, we only made breakfast at home. We appreciated the cooler for day trips, as well as the big pile of pool towels. The property is very secure, and we were grateful for the garage to park the car. The Zindis property manager met us on the first day to orient us, and was available throughout for recommendations and other services. Very helpful!The walk to the beach is short, but involves a steep hill. We ended up driving, given the extra stuff we brought with us. Playa Hermosa is a cute little town with a mini-mart, coffee shops, restaurants, and a few other amenities within a few minutes' drive. A fabulous property, close to the airport, close to other attractions around the coast as well as inland. Thank you!

Well equipped house, excellent response to needs, beautiful view!

What a great stay. Clean house. The host/house manager was responsive to our needs above and beyond including last minute AC repair. The kitchen is so well stocked!!! a cooks dream. We only ate out once on the way to the house and once on the way to the airport. Bring reusable grocery bags! Costa Rica banned plastic/paper disposable bags some time ago. Although the ones you get in the grocery in Costa Rica will step up your reusable bag game wherever you return to :) My mom, mom's friend, myself and my two kids 5y and 7y stayed. highly recommend for families. (my kids and I slept the king bed together, ample room). The pool is amazing, bromine too, no chlorine :) Highly recommend this spot. The ONLY possible downside is if you plan to go the beach everyday, it's a trek down a STEEP hill so driving is advised (esp with small kids). Hermosa Beach FYI: you DO NOT have to pay for parking at the beach, you can pay whatever you want but it is not required.

Quiet, relaxing condo with incredible views

We had an excellent stay in Playa Hermosa. The location of this condo is great for those looking for tranquility and spectacular views. It was immaculate. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, including when there was great live music at a nearby restaurant on two of the nights of our stay (not audible from inside the condo, so wouldn't have kept us awake). We had an issue with the air conditioner in the primary bedroom, which was addressed very promptly. We loved both the private pool and the heated community pool. The house manager, Milena, was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend this condo!

A Perfect (almost) Spot

The apartment was big and attractively furnished with great beds. We loved the location and the views. Warning to those with disabilities - while the beach is within walking distance there is quite a steep hill. The positive of that is that it got easier every day. We walked down twice a day. The home itself was very nice but in truth we spent most of our time outside on the deck sitting in the shade looking at the ocean. We did almost no cooking - lots of good restaurants within walking distance along the beach but the kitchen seemed to have everything. Our only complaint was that the air conditioners were noisy and made sleeping difficult. I would go back for sure if management told me they were fixed.

Playa Hermosa is perfect

Great location, above the quiet Hermosa beach, but also only 10 minute car ride to the busier Play Coco, snorkeled a different beach every day! Different restaurant every night, all wonderful. Have to take the monkey trail to Tamarindo(day light only, SUV only) and visit Ricon (valcano) national park great trails, east of Liberia. Thank you Milena for everything!

Quiet Oceanview

Playa Hermosa is a quiet relaxing area to put your feet up or dig them into the sand in one of many gorgeous beaches in the area. Our 3 bedroom condo was very modern and well equipped and had a well stocked kitchen. Beds were high quality and very comfortable. Veranda features morning sun and afternoon shade. Only downside if there was one is your view of the sunset was blocked by the hillside, an easy fix with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Other than that everything was as described and is great condition.

We stayed for 5 nights and the place was perfect. Great view for the galss of wine at the end of the day. The private pool was great for relaxing and the location was ideal to hit lots of beaches/restaurants. If I had a suggestion, the BBQ could use an upgrade. It was hard to light.
