My fiancé and I stayed for a weekend getaway and had a mixed experience. A five-star hotel this is not; it is a decent 3-star budget resort. Our main travel goals are relaxation and great food. The pools did not look like the photos and were filled with people as they are very small. The ocean was dirty due to the rain, but the staff did a great job keeping the property clean. There is no food service at the beach and limited drink service. There wasn’t much to do from there. The gym looked nice and i actually had fun getting toted around in the carts. Food was average- not bad, not great. The buffet is small and there was only one restaurant available for dinner for our two-night stay. That’s a policy- no restaurant experience for one night stay, 1 restaurant meal for a two night stay, etc. That’s become standard across budget resorts, which is disappointing. Room service is not included. On the plus side, we recommend El Mexicano for breakfast buffet- the omelette station also includes hand-made tortillas and tacos.

We had a fantastic vacation at Las Brisas. The property seems to be lacking in outdoor seating for the evenings and could use some updated lounge chairs. Staff were friendly and attentive. Beautiful grounds and beach areas.

The property is very well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Although the property is a bit dated the staff do a great job in taking care of it. I look forward to staying here again.
