This beautiful hotel is situated in basically a private beach area of Tangolunda Bay. The staff are outstanding and many have been there for several years. Due to the smaller size of the resort, you get to know staff by name. You’ll likely hear birds more than loud music and don’t expect a lively night life (unless you create if yourself). The hotel seems to have gone from 3 to 2 restaurants unfortunately, but La Crucecita is only a 100 peso ride away and has many wonderful restaurants. Oddly, our room had no cotton/linen pillow cases. The comfy bed pillows were in a more decorative case. You may wish to bring your own. Overall, a great quiet escape.

The location, proximity to the beach, pool and grounds were great. Prices in dinning areas and at the bar were far too high. Felt sorry for the waiting staff as few people were willing to pay the high prices.

Everything was nice very friendly oriented. Bartender was amazing! Food was ok not the best but also not the worst. We never had hot water we called for maintenance which they tried to fix but never got hot water in our shower. Christmas Eve dinner was a bit crazy didn’t get the table we paid for but overall it was nice and the food was better that night.

This place is gorgeous on the outside…but severely dated on the inside and need of new aesthetics…everything looked worn out once you opened the door. Grout missing in tiles, lights flickered or didn’t work at all, dated tiles…nothing to make it feel special or new. No art on walls. Staff were “cold” at best. Not helpful with information, unless you prodded; didn’t even help lift luggage into our car, or said thanks for staying, etc. Food expensive but not worth the expense, mediocre coffee, cold main courses…anything but special. They would have to up their game on many things before we’d ever stay there again.
