We rented four rooms. We we're there for a wedding. The staff was nice enough to allow us to check in at 12pm. This gave us time to get ready for our big day! Everyone was very nice!

The Sandpiper Lodge exceeded my expectations. The rooms are big and clean and comfortable and it was quieter than I would've thought, considering it was fully booked. Sean the manager was a true gentleman and he gave me many tips and helped me out by booking other nights I had not considered. It's within walking distance of many convenient places, and the bus stop is pratically in front.

Not worth thw price.

Not worth the over $200 i paid per night. I know it was UCSB move in weekend, but still too expensive for what I received. The breakfast was disappointing. The receptionist I had at check in was very rude. Everyone else was nice. Housekeeping didnt speak Engliah, so it was hard to get what I needed. It is a nice kept hotel, but i womt stay again.

EXTREMLY overpriced for what you get. My husband uses a CPAP machine and we brought it with us so he could sleep. When we tried to find a plug there was only one close and it was behind the bed which meant we had to move the bed and unplug one of the lamps so I had no light by my side of the bed. The bed was comfortable so that was a saving grace. I doubt I would stay there again

Nothing like the photos. Dingy. Gym had two old machines. Room looked like a motel from the 1800s. I didn't feel unsafe until I stepped foot on this property. People hanging outside their rooms, smoking weed. Literally everyone looked like a crackhead. Also..they didn't even have laundry service. What hotel doesn't have laundry service? Do yourself a favor and DONT spend a penny here!! not worth a dime!!!!
