Front desk not very helpful. Arrived on a Monday afternoon. That day, it appeared that there were not many guests. We were sent to a room that was very noisy and next to the freeway. We asked if there was possibility to be moved to a room that was more quiet and maybe overlooking the pond and they said they would do it for a fee, even though most of the rooms were not being used. The room was dirty. My wife and I had to clean the floors in the bathroom. It was very dirty with dust.

I like this hotel very much. The only dissapointment was no room cleaning the second day even though I requested and the desk said it will be scheduled. It dis not happen. Coming back to an uncleaned room is vey unpleasant.

The room was very nice, with high, beamed ceilings and the property had a beautiful pond with fish, turtles and ducks. Great for kids. They even have duck food available for purchase - just make sure you bring your quarters.

Upon check-in, we quickly dropped off our luggage and left. It wasn’t until we returned later that night that I noticed the room had not been properly cleaned. The floor was not vacuumed, the shower had pink residue, and one bed had a red stain on the sheet. One comforter had a blue pen mark, the other a tear. I contacted the front desk, and they noted it for housekeeping and provided fresh bedding for me to replace the stained sheet. Housekeeping cleaned the room the next day but again, they did not vacuum, so I called the front desk for the 3rd time, and someone was sent to vacuum and the housekeeping manager came to check as well.

There is no free internet access. Breakfast is good and the lady at the restaurant is incredibly polite and helpful. Room and bathroom was clean. Plenty of towels.

Quick hops to UCSB, anirport, and downtown Santa Barbara (10 mins each, easy drives). Reasonable cost for nicely appointed rooms with unique features (extra sink outside of bathroom, reading lights & headboard lights), love the pool and pond area! Great place to relax.

This is a lovely hotel at a great price, the grounds were beautifully appointed with a pond with ducks swimming, and a beautiful pool & hot tub. The room was spacious and nice. I chose it based on the reviews and the photos of the grounds for myself and a family member I was travelling with and they loved it.

The property was overall very nice, however, we did not find the interior of our room to be clean. There were long pieces of hair all around the floors, so much that we were stepping on old eyelashes with glue. We also felt that the tub was not very clean it could have used a good scrubbing, good mopping, and the carpet could have used a better vacuum carpet cleaner. There was somewhat of a stench coming from the carpet as if dogs urinated on the floors.

It was our second time in this hotel. Convenient to UCSB campus proximity. Really nice people are working there! Good breakfast. Rooms are a little outdated but nice and clean. We will probably come back because the location is good, it is simple but clean . And again, the people who work in the hotel are great! Thank you!
