The pictures definitely over rate the property and Orbits has this rated to high in their system as well. This is a 2 to 3 star property not a 4 star. The property is dated and needs an update. As with most old properties, it has an oder. The staff was friendly and check in was fast and easy. The hotel doesn’t have common area A/C so walking the halls and using the elevator in the summer is muggy. The room was ok, nothing special. The a/c couldn’t keep up so the room never got below 75 degrees. The pool is small and in a muggy room. This hotel would be comparable to a mid-low level comfort inn. It’s close to several other nicer hotels. It worked for us since we had a super short stop over. If we were planning to stay for a vacation we would have been disappointed. Free parking was a good value add.

Kinda run down and dirty.

This hotel was busy busy. There is a constant non stop fan in the bathrooms that you cannot not shut off. It’s very noisy along with the bending and ice machines. The halls are hot and stuffy with no ventilation and the hotel is not clean. Our room was extremely dusty and had garbage stuffed behind the night stand and old protest signs stashed on top the closets. Although breakfast is free, there isn’t adequate seating to enjoy your meal. I told the front desk our room was dirty and he said they were short staffed and he would make a note. One of the elevators next to our room was also broken.

The jetted tub was a plus. We were woken up to a worker slamming open our door and yelling “luggage”. Luckily we had our safety lock on but it was a jolt at 7am.

I had a room with a jetted tub so off the bat I cannot hate this place, the tub was massive and just what I needed! I did struggle with the wifi, where I got it to work on my phone but not my computer. The complimentary breakfast is nice because the area isn't terribly walkable so I'm not sure where I would have had breakfast if they didn't offer it. They didn't give me a parking pass (despite me giving them my car info and specifically asking about where to park) so I got a parking ticket, but they said they would void it. If you stay here, be sure to get the slip of paper from them, as they may forget to give it to you.

The hotel was okay at best. It need updating, and it could be a little bit cleaner. The way that breakfast is setup, you eat across from the main welcome desk. I felt as though the hosts were staring at us eating, which felt a little unsettling. Also, the parking lot for the hotel was very crowded, and the area around the hotel did not feel very safe, even though the hotel itself seemed fine. There were no convenient stores other than a vape store across the street. There was a LGBTQ festival that weekend, and the whole area was extremely overcrowded, so maybe we were feeling some of this chaos around us. Overall, I wasn't completely disappointed, but I might try to find a suburb outside of Salt Lake City to stay if I visit again one day.
