St. Ann’s Motel was a wonderful stay! Owner Vince was warm, friendly, and gave us excellent travel and food recommendations. The location at the start of the Cabot Trail is perfect, and the Atlantic Ocean views from our room were absolutely stunning. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we’d love to come back!

What a great little motel. Cute rooms with lots of room and clean. Nice little chairs to sit on outside and a wonderful view, especially as the sun went down. Great value too!

Friendly check in. Both provided information and mapped out my journey for the Cabot Trail on a Cape Breton map. Breton Brewing was complimentary and local. I have driven past them in the past and now will stop and stay.

This a small single story motel. The water views are gorgeous and literally right outside the windows of the rooms. The rooms were all super clean. Beds were comfy. Room had fridge and microwave.We appreciated the real coffee cups and wineglasses provided. Owner was friendly and super helpful with tips on food and irony recommendations.

The owners of the motel, Tina and Vince, were awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view of the water. What a great thing to see when you wake up in the morning. Room was very clean and there is a restaurant next door.

We had a great stay. The garden in front of the ocean has an amazing view. Vince is super friendly and funny. The beds are very comfortable. Room was better than the pictures. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is right on the water. You can actually swim from the back of the property. The owners are always present and are extremely helpful. I would stay there again just because of them! The rooms are a bit dated, but they are working to improve them. We loved our stay. The only thing that was missing was air-conditioning, but we knew that ahead of time, and they are working at adding it.

Stunning views, affordable and well equipped room. The owners Vince and Tina are super nice. We stayed multiple nights so we saw them working very hard to deep clean and set up the rooms. The location is perfect, as it’s right at an entry point to the Cabot trail, near some really cool destinations, including Baddeck, which has all you need for supplies, coffee and a chill day, if you need a day off the road. Highly recommended. Only drawback was it was mosquito season, and with a marsh nearby, it was brutal. But will be back, especially when the nights are cooler so the mosquitoes aren’t an issue.

The property was difficult to find and there was no cell reception on the roads getting there so my GPS wasn't working, better signage from the main highway would be helpful. The fan was broken in my room and the room hadn't been vacuumed as I found a pill on the carpet and dead bugs on the floor and the remote was super sticky..ick. but other than that it was lovely.
