Pleasant Stay

Beds were uncomfortable. Missing the mark on accessibility for strollers, handicap persons, or wheelchair. Other than those items, lovely stay. Great location.

The room was clean but a little small. We actually picked this hotel because of the free EV charging available. The restaurant was great and an added bonus since we arrived late and didn't have time to find another place to dine. Room for improvements - The toilet was leaking. There was no freezer as part of the fridge but glad that there was an ice machine available. The internet was so slow that we didn't bother to use it - there was poor bandwidth.

Wonderful

​My recent stay at this Victorian-style inn was a very positive experience. The inn is absolutely charming, and the room was exceptionally clean, which I greatly appreciated. The view from the room was also wonderful, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. ​A major highlight was the whirlpool tub in the room, which was a fantastic feature and we really enjoyed using it. It made for a very relaxing and luxurious evening. ​The only minor issue we encountered was with the complimentary coffee station. The creamer and sugar tasted stale or old, and it seemed they hadn't been replaced with a fresh supply. While a small detail, it was a bit disappointing when we went to make our morning coffee. ​Despite this one small issue, we had a delightful stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful and clean inn.

Our waitress at breakfast was almost invisible. No checking up on us, no refills, no contact. Whereas the young man who served the other tables was delightful to observe. Talked about where he was from, common grounds with his clients, gave good tourist info. Maybe you were short staffed and our waitress had to work in the kitchen as well but the difference in service was extreme.

The wifi was a bit of a disappointment. The outside door locks were a bit annoying. The walkway to the back lot was a difficult to navigate due as it has lips and the door has a very efficient closing mechanism

The Lynwood inn is in a great location and the staff is extremely nice. The hotel wall was paper thin and being on the ground floor every single time anyone opened or closed the entrance door it resulted in a slam that was audibly felt and heard in our room. Additionally you could hear everyone walking up or down the stairs. Using earplugs did not help. The bed configuration almost needs to be switched so your head isn't against the slamming door. Or at a minimum they need to fix the door jam so it isn't slamming constantly. This is most likely only an issue for the 1 room we got but all 4 of us had an inconsistent sleep due to the noise. We left more tired than arriving.

Cute, older building. Very central, within walking distance of food etc. The building itself is older, could use some updating and repair. Overall a decent stay although the town is sparse and most places closed by 5pm other than restaurants.
