Nice clean motel

The room was so clean clean I should have taken pictures. The furniture and lighting are good, the refrigerator has room for more than just a six pack, which is good. Love the water pressure in the shower. The view from the front door is very nice.

We had an excellent stay at this motel. Staff was super friendly. The owners dogs were sweet and ours dogs felt super comfortable around them. Thank you for offering a dog friendly place to stay!

I know they are working on renovating and updating the place but it was lacking in details. Our A/C wouldn't even turn on, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, the details of years of being in business showed. It smelled musty and just really was not good. Not worth the price we paid.

Fair Isle made a great base for taking in all Cape Breton has to offer. It is approximately 340 km round trip around the Cabot Trail. Charlene's has great food but isnt licensed. Took in traditional music at the Red Show, 25 km NW.
