We arrived on a Sunday and a nice guy (Ali) completed the check in as well as our check out. He was informative and kind. The room was on the third floor (elevator available) and it is clean with nice linens and housekeeping everyday to make beds and change towels. The TV is very small with slow internet connection. The microwaves are outside the rooms but there is a refrigerator in the rooms as well as a coffee maker. A laundry self-service is offer $3.50 not included soap or dryer sheets. The inn is located a walking distance to the main street of the town where you can find a supermarket (coop) if you want to buy meals/ food as the restaurant can be expensive for a family (breakfast-buffet $16 dinner entrees $20 up); near to a post office, bank, nice cafes and restaurants. We had a great experience going to a fiddle piano show at the Parish Hall (walking distance from the inn). It was $20 adult & $10 12 year old and younger. We also had a chance to see the fireworks (Canada Day) from the main pier in town. A restaurant on Canada Day (Main Street)was accepting donations and giving free hamburgers/hot dogs for everybody in town. That was nice of them!! Although there are other inns and lodgings options in the same street, we recommend it.

The hotel is quaint and located on a beautiful property. The landscaping is amazing. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. It’s just a short walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and shopping!

Excellent staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms. The second more expensive room was very nice with a fireplace. The only problem is that the fireplace is tricky to turn on. And, even though this is a large room with 2 queen beds the bathroom is very small with very little counter space. A bigger issue for me is that the building I am staying in that has the larger room has no elevator. I am 75 years old with bad knees so slugging heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs was not possible. The manager heard my story and immediately came to carry our bags up the stairs. He said when we are checking out to call him and he will take the bags to the car.

Pricey for what you get. We paid a bit more to upgrade from the basic room, but the building we were in was rather dated, and was wood frame. So we had to listen to the person above us walk back and forth on the squeaky floor until midnight and woken up at 06:00 we they got ready to leave. The towels and bedding were nice though.
