A must stay

I absolutely loved my stay here. Extremely welcoming, the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at and the location was soo perfect for all the main spots we wanted to see like the Basilica, the the colosseum, shopping, and great food spot. They even gave us a recommendation list for places to eat and they were sooo good. I cannot say enough good things !

Best place to stay in Trastevere! Spacious, clean and friendly. Michaela was very responsible and the communication was great - from what time we arrived and what time we planned to leave - Michaela touched base with us closely. Trastevere is also such a nice location to stay - close to most of major attractions, so many excellent restaurants and safe to stroll through.

The property is well maintained with very courtesy staff who reached out to us well in advance to see if there was anything we required. The apartment is secure with multiple locks required to enter. There is also an elevator! Not common in older European buildings. At the entrance there is a cafe to the right and a small sandwich/eatery to the left. Easy for a quick bite. The host also provided a recommended restaurant list and a city map. Within 5 to 10 minutes walk you can find multiple restaurants and gelato :).

Absolutely loved staying here! Wonderful location close to many shops and restaurants and to get over the river to the sites doesn’t take much time. I walked everywhere and didn’t have any issues. The staff were so kind and I loved my room upgrade. The room was clean and beautiful and the view of the basilica out front from my window was incredible! Highly recommend to book this hotel, I will definitely be back here!

Not worth the price - just a good location

Great location and decent customer service. However, the cost does not justify the overall experience. Poor amenities such as no soap, lotion and bottled water for over $300 per night. Shower gel or shampoo? Pictures attached.

We stayed there for only 1 night. Our stay was really enjoyable. The hotel host made us feel at home and gave us lovely recommendations on routes and dinning options. The room was just the right temperature and very comfortable. The hotel is walk-able distance to all the popular sites which we enjoyed. I highly recommend this gem.

Perfect spot for exploring Rome, away from crowds!

This place was perfect!!! I feel very fortunate to have discovered this wonderful hotel hide-a-way in the best part of Rome. The location for our visit to Rome was ideal. We were in the most beautiful neighborhood, which was quite by day an then turned in to a magical place in the evening. Walking distance to the riverside, which was wonderful as we were able to walk the beautifully lit river at night and enjoy the riverside summer festival. Also, the small neighborhood restaurants and bars are plentiful and picturesque. I truly wished we had more time. Further, this hotel is walking distance to the main sites and we did go visit those, but were SOOOOOO happy we did not stay near the crowds. Finally the service was excellent! Kind, friendly, informative, and generous with suggestions and accomodations. I recommend this place and would stay here again in a future visit:)))) Thank you for the warm welcome!

Absolutely beautiful room in this lovely guesthouse run by the incredbly helpful Michaela and Elisa. We felt very safe (behind three locked doors once you are in your room!) and the location could not have been more perfect. The room itself was gorgeous, well-appointed and comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. I would absolutely stay here again.

What a wonderful place. The room was well appointed with everything you could want. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had room 4 which has a balcony and is at the back of the building, so it would most likely have been quieter than a room facing the main road. The hotel's location was perfect, with all the main tourist attractions within easy walking distance. There is a good selection of places to eat in the immediate area. Through the wonderfully friendly and helpful Michaela, we arranged to be collected at the airport and dropped off again at the end of our break, which was very convenient. On arrival we were greeted warmly and were provided with a map of the area, along with a list of excellent tried and tested restaurants which was very useful. We were visiting Rome, mainly to attend a wedding, however on the day of the wedding the taxi drivers were on strike which made getting to the wedding would have been difficult. Michaela worked her magic and was able to find a car and driver to get us to the church. We can't thank you enough for all your assistance Michaela! If you're looking for somewhere to stay, this hotel is highly recommended and you won't be disappointed. A Trastevere de M.E. is now our place to stay when we are in Rome and we will be back!

Our last stop on a wonderful trip through Italy. The fun now behind us, we just needed a place to gather ourselves and get Covid tests done before flying home. However, it turned out that staying here was an unexpected bonus. The reviews and pictures were very accurate. A beautiful and comfortable room with attentive and helpful owners and staff on hand. We rested so well. On the doorstep of Trastevere where we spent two days wandering, enjoying the restaurants and the ambiance of this eclectic and distinctive district. What a gem this is in Rome. We will return and, next time, for longer.
