We chose Baymont for the pool, hot tub, and laundry facilities. All three were broken and unavailable. The breakfast was poor. The waffle machine undercooked the waffles and the drinks were watered down.
Check in was confusing as. Was given the wrong papers. Staff directed me to my room which was on the wrong floor. Coffee pot was encrusted with white stuff from the water, never been cleaned. Key lock on door didn’t work well after eliminating 4 key cards. Tub faucet was loose, toilet knob didn’t work well. Seriously needs attention.
This was a friendly quaint hotel closely located close to our family reunion. There were newer "nicer" hotels a bit further away. This one had a better rate and comparable amenities--free breakfast, pool, parking, wifi. The building is a little older, but it was clean and maintained. The hotel pool was pleasantly warm and we were excited to end each day with a nice long dip. (We actually visited family in one of those newer hotels, and the Baymont's pool area was more enjoyable.) The hotel was quiet, and we couldn't believe how well we slept each night (me, my husband and our two preteen kids). The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the room nice and dark. The other guests were polite and friendly. Next time we visit familiy in the area, we will definitely stay at this quaint hotel.
most everything was ok--the room did smell old and the ice maker righy next to our room was not working-so i had to walk the the other end just to get a little ice
