Family Resorts in Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen

"The staff was very nice, but lack communication skills on how the resort works for first time visitors to an all inclusive resort. Example… 1. We paid extra for the concierge/butler service and never meet one of them. 2. Still couldn’t get a reservation to a restaurant until our last night til 9:00 pm. They are building a new hotel next to the Hyatt and they start work at 7:30 each morning. It’s no where noted that construction was taking place. The rooms are super clean and the housekeeping works really hard. Spa was really nice and they will provide transportation by golf cart to it, but again they lack communication skills to let you know how it works. "

"Hotel is great and staff was amazing (most of them!). We have access to a private pool and that was amazing. However, the noise/music from the pool was loud and people “reserving sun beds” was really annoying. Food was a bit repetitive for a 5* but generally good. Great to have free parking. Theatre for the shows was good and there were events organised each night. "
