It’s a no frills hotel. The hotel was cold from the entrance and lobby with the bar. The rooms were clean but also cold. The restaurant is in another room so a slight bit warmer. Staff were super friendly and happy to help.

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Iceland, and I was truly impressed by the level of hospitality. The front desk staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They offered wonderful advice on things to see and do in town, which made my visit even more enjoyable. What touched me the most was how thoughtful they were. One of the front desk employees even asked a friend to drive me into town so I wouldn’t have to take public transportation. That kind of kindness is something you don’t forget. I felt very cared for throughout my stay, and it made my trip so much smoother and more memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland — the service is exceptional.

Location: A quick, easy walk from KEF airport. Convenience: We arrived at KEF early and were able to easily stow our luggage at the hotel before check-in. This let us take the FlyBus into Reykjavík for the day. Room: Quiet, comfortable, plenty of space for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast: Open early, excellent choices, a great start before our travel. Staff: Very friendly, helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Breakfast was an additional 25 dls per person for a continental regular European breakfast. Seemed steep and should had been available to guest for less in my opinion. No salmon included. The hotel was clean and the plus is that is right next to the airport terminal. Just a few steps from it. Staff was very nice and attended to our needs when we needed to turn the heater on, the front desk lady actually went up to our room and helped us right away.
