The shower was dirty and sprayed water over the barrier onto the floor, toilet paper and my "dry" clothes. The outlet was falling out of the wall. The bed lamp socket was falling out of the stem of the lamp. The alarm went off briefly when we opened our door to exit our room. There was no one on site to report the problems to. Parking was good. Centrally located. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay here again.
The property is close to the airport and has at least 5-6 restaurants within 1/4 miles. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and an automatic espresso machine. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Jazz for 4 nights and even though its far from Reykjavík city center and other attractions in iceland if you have a car it's commutable. Front desk person was v nice and accommodated to our request of v early check in before 10am. Nice part was the breakfast included which had multiple options. overall a nice stay and would recommend others who want to stay near the KEF airport. If you want to be near city center, I wouldn't recommend unless you have a car.

Conveniently located property just off the Main Street through town. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff either unavailable or simply don’t care. Reserved a room with a sea view over 5 months ago , got a room overlooking the parking lot. Asked for a 7 AM wake up call, finally got a call at 7:30. Mediocre breakfast buffet.
Staff is amazing. Early breakfast was delightful before a long day of traveling.
The hotel was walking distance to many restaurants. I emailed them in the morning to see if the room was ready for early check in and they responded promptly letting me know that it was. They had a nice spread for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
Staff was very accomodating regarding transportation to and fron airport. Free breakfast was fine, rpom waclean and large.
We didn’t realize that we had an 18 hour layover and had to find a hotel at the last minute. Patricia picked us up at the airport and brought our tired and chilled selves back to the hotel. She made sure we had cocoa and that we were happily tucked into our rooms. The beds were fantastic and the breakfast the next morning was really good. Thanks!
This is a great property! It’s new(ish) and is close to many amenities - restaurants, bars, and shops. It was 6500isk to take a cab to the blue lagoon and 7200 back... seems high (and is!) but if you compare it to taking multiple shuttles you come out ahead, way ahead if you include the value of your time. Hotel offered free shuttle service to and from the hotel (as of this posting) - awesome. We requested to be woken up if the northern lights came out - and they did! Totally amazing! The staff here knew who I was even if we had no previous interaction - that’s amazing. Free breakfast (time of posting) was good and included local delicacies. Free use of a coffee machine (time of posting) all day - including hot chocolate. Who doesn’t want hot chocolate after walking around in the cold. We certainly did! People are going to think I’m a total shill or something, but this is one of the best stays I have ever had (and not even close to the most expensive - fantastic deal!). You can tell a lot of thought was put in to turning this old music school into a hotel and it shows. We will be back.
