A quirkily laid out house ideally located close to QU. The neighbourhood was quiet and finding the house on arrival easy. It was interesting to read about the history of the property. We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean and well equipped house matching the pictures on its Vrbo listing. We had a stay that enabled us to eat, sleep and relax without stress. If we had a reason to visit Quincy again this house would be at the top of the list of choices to stay.

The location was perfect for our needs. The host was very welcoming and checked on us during our stay. The home was nice and clean. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely see if this place is available.

Quaint homr, great location and clean. Only one downside, the only bathroom is in one of the bedrooms. Since it was only my husband and myself, this wasnt an issue. We used it as our dressing room.

Disappointed

Very clean older small home in a convenient location. Number of problems though. No icemaker or ice trays. Had to enter only tiny bathroom thru the smaller bedroom and no shelf or anything to place items. Uncomfortable beds. In small bedroom heard something chewing or scratching all night - mouse or chipmunk in bathroom or attic? Decided not to stay second night.

The Shoemaker cottage is a WIN in Quincy. All the basics.. well maintained..perfect location. Great for two people. Would stay again if needed another visit to Quincy.
