Wonderful stay in a cute wood stuctured villa surrounded by beautiful, lush vegetation, friendly service and good food! We loved our villa - my only recommendation is having less itchy/rough blankets on the bed. The staff were so great - manager, assistant manager, wait staff were the most kind and helpful. The bartender and waitress at dinner indulged my husband and I in jokes and banter while serving us gorgeously (wow) plated dishes that were tasty, under a lovely structure. We didnt get to enjoy the pools or spa due to limited time but they definitely looked very inviting. Location in terms of feeling secluded but in proximity to the falls and border were great. I wouldnt hesitate to book this place if I came back to Puerto Iguazu.

Fantastic stay at Overo Lodge & Selva. Villa was super clean and with lots of extra little details (mosquito tablets, complete furnished kitchen, little presents every day), great restaurant and breakfast, interesting activities, staff super friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed. Great location, bus stop 100mts away to get to the falls (cash only)

A must stay for Iguazu Falls.

This was such a beautiful, jungle hotel property, with lots of amenities we really enjoyed. The service upon arrival was great, felt well taken care of. The included breakfast was one of the best I've ever had - you can order as much as you want and they're these sophisticated little breakfast plates. The property is stunning and just asks for a walk around or a lounge by the pool. We took advantage of the mate class they offered (free) which we very much enjoyed. They also offered transportation options to and from the hotel but we had already booked something. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iguazu falls!

It’s a series of standalone cabins, which was nice. In winter (August), it was cold and the heating unit in one of the rooms didn’t work well. Also, the shower was very primitive and uninviting. But good for those who are not too picky. Dinner priced a bit high. Staff friendly and friendly , with good English.

A little paradise in Iguazú

We had the absolute best time at Overo!!! From the moment we arrived and how we were greeted with glasses of papaya juice to the amazing breakfast and dinner menus!! The villa was such a relaxing experience ! Love the kitchen and the welcome treats they surprised us with. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were only there 2 nights but felt like it was a much needed getaway. The personnel were super friendly and helpful. We honestly felt like we were taken care of the entire stay. I would recommend eating at the restaurant - the food was amazing - make sure to order dessert too. Our girls loved it and honestly we would go back in a heartbeat.

Definitivamente una de las estadías que mas disfruté, especialmente por el trato de su personal. El lugar es EXCELENTE, en el medio de la selva y una perfecta ambientación donde se nota mucho el respeto por el entorno ambiental. Es verdad que no esta exactamente cerca del centro, pero estrategicamente ubicado para ir al parque (lado argentino), y para suplir eso, el hotel ofrece alternativas todos los dias: yoga, fogones, degustaciones de yerba mate. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia, y lo que me convenció de querer volver, es el excelente trato de los profesionales que trabajan para Overo: Sebastian, Ian, Micaela, Carlos, Jose y Sabrina, GRACIAS cada uno de ustedes por hacernos pasar unos dias increibles, realmente la diferencia la marcaron ustedes con su buen trato, amabilidad, respeto, atencion a cada detalle y buenisima predisposicion. Hicieron de nuestro viaje un viaje especial. Nota aparte para Ramón: Cuando consulté al hotel por un servicio de transfer, me asignaron a Ramón, quien no solo nos llevo y nos trajo a todas partes, sino que tambien con sus recomendaciones, buena onda y disponibilidad casi total, hizo que disfrutemos aún mas de la estadía y fue un complemento perfecto para nuestro viaje. Sin dudas voy a volver a Overo cuando pueda, y espero encontrarme a las mismas caras en la recepcion y el restaurante (que por cierto tiene un nivel espectacular, todo de primera)

Wonderful spot

We had 3 delightful nights at Overo Lodge as part of a trip to see the falls. The facilities are first rate, the restaurant OUTSTANDING in terms of the food, the presentation, and the service. Getting to select one's breakfast from myriad options the night before was good fun. Extensive use of WhatsApp to communicate in Spanish or English with staff in advance of stay and while we were there. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it! Perfect place for feeling lost in the jungle, surrounded by nature and cared for by people who put their heart into it. Reception staff greets you as soon as you step out of the taxi, the check-in feels like you're in the most luxurious of places, and even before arrival - they message you on WhatsApp and arrange all sorts of requests. Breakfast is fantastic, dinner menu at the restaurant is just scrumptious, you get coffee, tea and mate in the room and fruit snacks every day when you get back from visiting Iguazu. On practicalities: reception can order you taxis - they work with a few local drivers; pickup from the airport, a ride to the city centre, the parks or even Brazil can be easily arranged. Taxis take cards, Mercado Pago or cash. The animal sanctuary next door is open from 10 to 5pm, with the last tour going at 4:30 pm.

This property is absolutely beautiful! We did not want to leave!! The environment is so natural and authentic. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! The villa is lovely and has everything you need including your own mate and bombilla. Right next door there is an animal reserve called Guiroga. The grounds are lovely to explore!

the staff is exceptional. They met every need timely and with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful and the restaurant delicious and serves healthy options. The room was ok. There was a heating issue (45F the nights we stayed) and the bathroom had strong sewer smell. The room could have been better maintained and a bit cleaner in my opinion. Also, the hotel recommended meco car rental for us but meco was not a good experience and offered very poor customer service.
