THE LAYOUT:
KITCHEN: Once you arrive on the third floor you’re welcomed into this open-concept kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, including a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher—make cooking & meal prep feel effortless. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or a full dinner, you'll find all the essentials: cookware, utensils, dishes, glassware, and even a coffee maker to start your morning right. Enjoy a quick meal on the island that is facing an exclusive view of the Brown University athletic courts or enjoy a sit down meal at the dining table in the adjacent room.
LIVING/DINING ROOM: Following the kitchen step into the living and dining room space that offers a cozy yet functional retreat. There is a second eating area, which is the modern dining table for 5. The living room has a sofa and additional chairs for comfort. This space also has a mounted SmartTV and a closet with board games and additional storage.
SLEEPING AREAS: There are three bedrooms in this apartment. The first bedroom upon entry is uniquely cozy tucked beneath charming architectural angles that create a tower, lookout feeling. This bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed surrounded by three picturesque windows that highlight the view of the Brown University tennis courts just across the street.
On the other side of the apartment is the second bedroom which features a queen bed. The unique sloped ceiling gives the room a cozy, tucked-away feel with a bright reading nook.
Besides this room is a cozy third bedroom, featuring a twin bed and a desk for catching up on emails. Each bedroom includes a closet, full-length mirror, and storage to make your stay more comfortable.
BATHROOM: The bathroom pairs functionality and style with a sleek glass walk-in shower. A round mirror, vanity, and is fully stocked with the essentials that any guest would need including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer to ensure a smooth and convenient stay.
THE BUILDING: This apartment is on the 3rd floor and there and there is no elevator in this apartment building. From the charming brick exterior to the bright, modern interior, this apartment perfectly blends historic character with fresh, stylish design. Whether you're visiting for work, exploring the city, or simply looking for a stylish and comfortable place to relax, this thoughtfully designed apartment offers the perfect home base for your stay in Providence. It’s in a friendly and safe neighborhood right across from the Ivy league Brown University. There is no elevator in this apartment building. We can accommodate up to 5 guests. Despite the thorough renovations of all our apartments, the building itself remains an older structure and is considered unsuitable for young children. However, if your children are 6 years or older and you understand these considerations, we would be happy to accommodate your stay. There is one off-street parking spot in the lot diagonally across the street from the apartment.
Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire apartment. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and shares access to the building via the front door. This front door is shared with the Ground Level, 1st, and 2nd floor apartments.
The Neighborhood: We are located directly across from Brown University, perfect for anyone visiting Brown University or even site seeing. Thayer Street is only a 10 minute walk from our location, which offers a vibrant mix of dining and shopping experiences. Clean as a whistle
As long as you can handle stairs, this is a great little rental and exactly what we needed for reunion weekend at Brown! Comfy beds, quiet neighbors. We did not cook so can't comment on the kitchen much, but it was perfect for our needs.
