Very cute property with a great coffee shop on the first floor. Staff was very helpful + accommodating and checking in regularly to make sure we were happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and we had a great time staying here!

The Dean is a nice design hotel, but lacked in a few basics that I like in a hotel - refrigerator in the room, business center or a place to print something out, ice buckets, shower was super small. I think it's a good spot for a night or two at the most. I was there for a week and needed a bit more. Great location downtown PVD, but parking is tricky - $30/night valet at the hotel or about $20/night at the ramp next door which had tricky hours of operation. Construction next door was active well into the evening, heard jack hammering until 10 p.m.

Staff was really friendly and helpful for the check in and valet parking. They already put my luggage in my room while I was out watching Hamilton. That’s excellent service. The room was amazing with a beautiful view. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family for next visit in Providence!

I liked the style and quaintness of this place. Reminded me of the vibe of an Ace hotel.

Beautiful hotel was extraordinarily friendly staff.

cute little hotel in a great location. the hotel also has a somewhat hidden bar and a karaoke bar. nice restaurant with good food as well. just be warned if you have a ton of luggage, there are a few steps to go up and the elevator is an old cage one with only enough room for 2 people with a carry on size

Loved the entire atmosphere, from the neon signs to the old-fashioned lift. Really great time and really great service.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Comfy room and very friendly helpful staff

Excellent stay, clean hotel, perfect location. Not much more to ask for!

room was small and cozy. valet parking staff was very friendly murphys pub close by, good food

While I really liked the quirky features of this place, the hotel should put in decent lighting in the elevator. It's an old fashioned one, where you open the metal gate. Confusing when I got off, since there were two exits off the elevator even though there was only room for two people on it. Oh well. First room I have ever stayed in, where there literally was not room enough to so my stretches in the morning. Overall it was entertaining.

I recently stayed in one of the suites called "The Mates" which was a smaller space than what you would see at your big chain hotels. However, the room, mainly the bed in particular, was far more comfortable than your average chain hotel. The proper amenities in the bathroom, such as shampoo and body wash, were in abundant supply. Additionally, these amenities, as well as the body lotion, hand soap, and conditioner, were clearly not of the generic quality you would expect from your average hotel room. The only real issue I had with the room was the size of the shower as it was quite small. Still, it was an excellent place to crash for two nights as I was in town for an interview that turned out to be quite successful. I will certainly recommend The Dean to friends who wish to visit. Also, the coffee shop downstairs is quite superb.

The Dean hotel is very cool-- it's an historic building with small rooms and a gated elevator but they've given it a very modern feel. The rooms are small but comfortable with some cool art deco touches and the hotel is extremely convenient to the convention center. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.

We are sorry to hear about the areas of opportunity you experienced during your stay with us. You are correct that we do not have a business center but our front desk is always available to print whatever documents you might need. Also, we offer a communal table in our lobby which is the perfect spot to get some work done while enjoying a coffee from Bolt.
